Hi all
Anyone else having this? Thoughts, dreams and images stuck in your mind of what is coming?
I am thinking the increased awareness of the afterlife is something that goes with age. As you get closer to then end of your life, you think more on the subject.
Or perhaps it is simply the Holy Spirit preparing us for what is to come. Helping us to focus on what is important. Or me having my mid life crisis?
What are your thoughts?
The only scripture that comes to mind that leans toward the Holy Spirit preparing us is Acts 2:17 And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.
I feel this is happening at large with members of my church and my Christian circle of friends. It is as if we have all entered a new plateau of understanding and expectation.
A feeling like we can touch heaven. We know it is around the corner. Having a better then ever before understanding of what is expected of us in the here and now. Understanding current priorities in the context of eternity and the reality of a hell and many going there. The phrase ''context of eternity'' is something I cannot get off my mind. I am looking at everything I do with this in mind.
