On this day so unlike any other
Many lost brother, sister, father, mother
Some took time to stop and
Others blamed God for that fateful day
God was with His children then
Despite the thoughts of men
Many years now have passed
A vision of hope has been cast
A thanks to all who unselfishly lent aid
Remembering all the sacrifices you made
Soldiers fight for liberty
Do what they must to keep us free
Let us never forget and always remember
