In a really bad situation

Hi,

I need prayer for a guy I once knew, a long time ago. He got Spirit-filled and started attending our church and then dropped out. Then, a friend from church saw him recently and I heard that he's in a bad way and is taking drugs.

Please pray that God would deliver him. He comes from a disadvantaged background.

I am really sorry to hear this for your friend. Drugs have a hold on people, I truly feel it is one of the biggest weapons that the devil uses to try and destroy people and their relationship with the Lord. I pray that the Lord will convict your friend and that he will return back to the Lord.

I want you to know that I'll be praying for your friend. I hope that he finds a crack of light in the darkness surrounding him. Many times people turn to drugs when they are trying to avoid an issue. I don't know if that's the case with him, but if it is, I hope he allows God to reach him and heal him.
