Imprisoned Pastor's Health Failing – VOM Sources

On September 24, The Voice of the Martyrs received reports that Pastor Zhang Rongliang's health was failing, and if he is not released, he would die in prison. According to contacts in China, "Pastor Zhang must be carried from place to place by two men supporting him. He does not walk well on his own. He openly questions whether he can finish this sentence. If he is not released, there is a good chance that he will die in prison." Pastor Zhang still has four years remaining of the seven-and-a-half year sentence he received after his arrest in 2004. He already had previously spent 12 years in prison for his faith during five separate detentions. He experienced harsh torture, including electric shock, during his previous prison terms.

Pray for Pastor Zhang's healing and for his release from prison.
Pray the Holy Spirit will encourage him and that his testimony will draw nonbelievers into the knowledge of Christ. Psalm 118:17; 3 John 2

Father I lift up Pastor Zhang Rongliang to you, Lord let your will be done in his life.
I thank you Lord for bringing him this far, for keeping him. Lord he choose you over his own life, bless him Lord. Bring healing to his body, give him peace.
Bless those who have witnessed his courage, let their lives be transform by his actions.

Bring Comfort and peace to family and friends, help them to trust in your will.

"Father thank You for Your promise and thank You for giving Pastor Zhang Rongliang the courage to prevail trough this persecution. Please shower him with Your love and bring peace into his heart, let him be able to rejoice in tribulation.
Father heal his body that have been battered and bruised by Your enemies, reveal Yourself through His life and let Your Name be glorified.
Father I've learned that nothing happens to your children without it going through Your hands and therefore let the purpose of Pastor Zhang Rongliang suffering be a witness of Your mighty power.
Keep his family safe and give them peace, shower them with Your love also and keep them close to Your heart.
