Tongues is a legitimate gift recorded very well in the book of acts, and even took place as the Centurion and his household were receiving the Holy Spirit.

These words were birthed, as the non-gentiles infront of the Apostle received the Holy Spirit which opened up salvation for the gentiles and the jews, and not the jews alone.

Many Christians think tongues are a babbling of sound it's written what tongues truly are n when it is acceptable to be in use yet haven't seen one temple that I walked in n visit be in the Word about tongues when they r all standing around sounding like a bunch of wild hyenas sad but true..

Two things all believers are sent ones as apostles sends them out two by two. family by family. twelve meaning the full authority as it is written is used in parables Twelve a remnant of the 27 listed

Not acceding the work of the Holy Spirit to the apostles' messengers (UPS, Fed X, Uber, Amazon, or my wife's favorite apostle sending me on a mission to the supermarket with a list of ten items and not to add or subtract. On completing the mission the apostles reward . . Three peanut butter cookies with extra peanuts and a cold glass of milk .

The other thing, tongues (dialect words with meaning) follow not something that can be sought after. like those who seek after signs and wonders before they would believe. They Like Nicodemus before conversion they made Jesus into a circus seal .Do some magic work a miracle then when we see it with our own eyes we will believe for one half a second

The law . . . . .John 4:48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe

The witness of the above law. . . . John 6:30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

In that way some look to the lying's signs as if true prophecy and do not rightly divide or interpret the parable.

Sign as metaphors used in parables again follow according to the power of sola scriptura born again believers can cast out lying spirts all because of the gospel tongue. They shall be challenged by the antichrists another teaching authority other than sola scriptura false prophecy as poison will not kill them

Many have tested the parable and chose the confusion babbling tongue, no understating and literally drank snake venom. Others fall backward slain in the Spirit of judgment

Tongues are languages, languages in which God is praised. Now these tongues can be anything any language. But the main thing is that it's always in Praise of God.

But as the scripture States, unless there is someone there that can interpret what is being said, the tongues should not be used. And the reason I say this is because if you have a person that's in the devil and comes to a service where tongues is accepted. And yet there is no one there to interpret it you do not know if that person is cursing you or not.

Paul states that the greater gifts are the ones that should be spoken of and used versus tongues

I have only witnessed one true Church of the Living God in the past ohh I'd say 15 yrs..by church I mean they were truly like family they truly cared about each other when one of them was down all the others pitched in the new each other's names they meant outside that temple it wasn't a once a week act so to say..n ya know for the life of me I can't remember the name of it.. but I do know it was in Phoenix Arizona..

I went to help a friend of mine move into a Christian College campus. He was interested in becoming a minister. While we were doing the move-in someone had invited us to a charismatic meeting. A person started speaking in tongues and I immediately got an interpretation. But the interpretation was completely different than what the person who was trying to say what the interpretation was. The interpretation that the person stated was how pleased that God is with us. The interpretation that I got was the opposite. I didn't say anything but I knew that that other person's interpretation was incorrect

In reguards to your origional thred . "Most Churches Deliberately" One of the problems that has arisen over the years is not that people don't want to learn about Christ. The problem is that there's no ONE voice, not ONE text, no ONE person you can go to with origional context. Everything and I do mean everything everyone every Church is so deluded with either their own personal teachings or personal thinking or way of thinking that does not include all of what Jesus taught to the apostles.

Here at Talk Jesus there are many voices, many teachings, many bibles used. You see the conflict.

It all's come down to ones Teacher.. if it is man that one follows there will be many conflicts as we can see frfr idk about other countries but from what the Lord allows me to see n hear n witness is that in America people don't point others to the Lord to find answers one is very eager to spoon feed most times so much bickering n name calling..the people calling a dead building the Church of a living God has helped led many astray one see a building with the word church n it sucks them in they become closer to mans words then the Word of the Lord..
Most people can't even humble themselves to change their speaking ways let alone be humble enough to follow the ways n so it causes them to live in murky grey waters n we know there is no darkness in the Living One..
He says woe to those who call dark light I believe calling something that is dead the Living God's church does just that..

Idk He tells us to go to Him like a child when I was a child I knew nothing my parents had to teach me how to even use words..

Idk like I say one can't be of Him n yet not follow His ways He left a road map for us just most don't care to really sit n spend time with Him ..

People too busy being right.. idk how that will work out for them in the end all one can really do is feel pity for them I suppose

Pretty much all I do these days is just spend much of my awake time thinking of the Lord or pondering or just praying..I tell people I'm just waiting on the Lord to call meHome until then I'll just worship n chill in Him here n help my husband regain his strength..

Other then that I really don't have no cares Lord has been gracious with us..He allows the peace we need for my husband to regain his strength

I have heard people speaking tongues. Tongues is defined as a people's language, or dialect It was in English called prophecy (sola scriptura) I understood it

How would you know it is praise of God if it has no certain understanding? Does God understand English .

1 Corinthians 14;8-9For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle? So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air (vanity)

Yes, sometimes the fact that religion is institutionalised and managed like politics doesn't help either. As example, Romanian Orthodox Church (BOR) built one of the greatest churches right to one of the biggest administrative building (House of Parliament) built during communist reign, not only from their own money or donations (even if they have major tax cuts) but from government also, while the economy could definitely invest more in schools and hospitals.

I think it's way better for someone to actually help people in need than building a church.

That to me is one of the greatest Ministries, taking care of your spouse until you go home with Jesus. It is a slow and grain type of ministry that not many think about as a Ministry.

My husband before we got married we were beat friends he said to me Lord said my wife will have a heart of a missionary light hair light eyes lol we never phanthomed it would be me.. hubby implemented a new rule I can not bring home no more strays as he calls them first I brought home a cancer alcoholic.. n she had left pills all over the floor my pup almost got them.. then oh a girl from Iran.. ya not very smart all's she wanted to do was drink n find men to support her drink.. another girl she is schizophrenic but she kept eating everything n not replacing broke things n screamed through the night.. Soo I believe my picker may be broken..
I been waiting on the Lord I would like to get like a lil truck n a pull rv n go back to Philly go on Kensington to all them lost that's a real dark place n we must be spiritually strong enough to face what has taken over there . But as I say May Our Creators will be done..
