For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18)

Amen! It's so hard to remember our lifetime in this world is so breif compared to eternity and when we are in Heaven it will be perfect and we will be with the Lord in His presence and there will be NO evil there with us.

I wish I could remember this verse more often and not just get cuaght up by the here and now but look beyond to Eternity with God.

Amen Melody. This life is lika a vapor which appears for a moment in time then vanishes away (James 4:14). That should lead us to set our sights on our life with the Lord and not the cares of this world.

Here's today's offering...

When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. (Colossians 3:4)

Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Thessalonians 2:14)

But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. (1 Peter 4:13)

If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: (2 Timothy 2:12)
