...then why aren't we spreading the word of God?
Hinduism grew by 1.57%, Christianity by 1.32% in the last year. That's sad and scary. We go on with our lives like nothing is happening while thousands of people are walking past us and walking their way straight to hell. Young people, your school is the biggest mission field you could ever be in. The workplace is the same way.
Think you won't make a difference? You'd be surprised at how many people want to know the truth but can't because nobody preaches to them. If you think nobody will listen, then you are contradicting what Jesus said. He said that we have the Holy Spirit with us and through him there is power.
Romans 10:14-15: 14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? 15 And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent?
How will anyone go.... without being sent? We are sent, people. We are the sent. Jesus said that as the Father sent Him, He is sending us.
How do we preach? We preach through love. The word "love" is said over 300 times in the Bible. But don't just live it, preach it.
St. Francis said: "Preach the gospel and if necessary, use words." That is a lie straight from Hell. You better use words, because once again: How can they hear about Him.... if no one tells them?
So, Church, it's time to stand up and fight for what is right. SO let people hear, and tell them, for we have been sent.
