It is sad what America has become.
1. John Boy would be gay.
2. Mary Ellen would be a crack head with at least 3 illegitimate children.
3. Jim Bob would on Ritalin for ADHD.
4. Ike Godsey’s would be an executive VP in Bentonville after selling out to Walmart- but that’s OK- he’s stealing Mr. Sam blind.
5. The Reverend (I cannot remember his name at the moment; played by John Ritter), would be Pentecostal televangelist who is seeing Olivia Walton on the side.
6. Corabeth Walton Godsey would be seeing cousin Ben on the side.
7. Algore would be screaming about all of the trees that John Walton is cutting for his sawmill.
8. All those New Deal Democrats would voting Republican with the rest of the southern bigots.
9. When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor the whole cast would be asking what has the U.S. done to make them do it.
10. That dirt road in front of the house would be a 6 lane super highway going to the Walton Acres sub-division.
