If Tears Could Build a Stairway

If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane
We would walk right up to heaven
And bring you back again.

No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And Only God knows why

Our hearts still ache in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one can ever know

But now we know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store

Since you'll never be forgotten
We pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our hearts
Is where you'll always stay

Tears, to me should serve a purpose,tears shed because I choose to feel sorry for myself,have never worked,tears for another,have.I know many believe tears shed, clean our soul,but the joy of the Lord is our strength,I use to cry,one day the Lord said to me,Mark,are you a man of God? tears, like faith have no purpose without action.James 1:22. Tears of joy, are good,any tear,that brings you closer to me,is always good,tears that drive you away from me,are always bad. Remember the thief? John 10:10 he comes to steal,and if you let him steal,you have much to cry about,but I have come to bring you life!! and abundant life in me! So the Lord told me,to get, what is mine,and if others want to cry without purpose,there is little you can do for them. Jesus did cry,but Jesus always had a purpose,I believe,so should we. Col 2:6-10
