If Only I Were Beautiful

How patient God is...

Nice story. How patient God is with us as we learn in the course of our lives that what we long for most is Him.

I especially like this quote...
"No love of the natural heart is safe unless the human heart has been satisfied by God first" — Oswald Chambers

I find this encouraging because I just got out of a relationship with someone who left me for someone "better." I just kept thing to myself, "If only I did this" or "If only I did that" we would still be together. Though this experience has brought me closer to God and has taught me that He has a different plan for me, it's still hard to walk around school and see all the happy couples. Sometimes I just want to be loved. I know God loves me, but sometimes it's still hard. Thank you for possting this. Gbu
