If Adam and Eve had not sinned, where would they be today?

Genesis 2:17, (NASB) informs us: "From the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die." They died because they sinned, so if they had not sinned they would have not died.

So, where would they be today? Heaven? Hell? Or still alive today?

Death would have never enter the picture so it would be heaven on earth and this where we all would be, who chose to not eat of the forbiden fruit.

DAVY:
Today we each are faced with the same choice as Adam and Eve. To sin or not to sin, but we have a sinful nature, and we don't have to be taught to sin, it comes naturally doesn't it.

Just what if Adam and Eve had not sinned? Most likely someone else whould have for sure. But even when God started over with Noah, rifgt off the bat Noah got drunk! There is no such thing as a sinless life until we are with the LORD!
Merry Christmas Davy!

These are all great comments, and I too, believe Adam and Eve would still be alive today if they had not sinned. As for the rest of their offspring, well no doubt some would have sinned and died, but Adam and Eve, and all their children who followed their parents example would still be alive today. To me, this shows God's intention for man was to live on earth with perfect health, in perfect harmony with the planet, literally a heaven on earth. There would be people alive today who would be 6,ooo years old.

This seems to fit perfectly with the hope the bible mentions. Jesus said the meek will inherit the earth, not heaven. (Matthew 5:5) The bible also states after Armageddon, many will go to heaven to rule with Christ as kings over the earth, when God's kingdom rules over the earth for 1000 years. (Revelation 20:4) But, those who survive Armageddon will be ruled by Jesus from his Kingdom. Then the ransom sacrifice will have a fuller fulfilment by removing the sinful effects of sickness and death. After all, when Jesus is ruling as king, there cannot be disease, sickness and death. When he was on earth, he showed he had authority over these things. So mankind will be brought back to perfection and then at the end of the 1000 year rule. (Revelation 20:5) Satan will be let out and allowed to test mankind, just like Adam and Eve were tested when they were perfect. (Revelation 20:7-10)

Well if they never sinned, why would they be in hell?

They would surely be alive in the garden of Eden as God intended.

But all this is just free liberty to guess. Thank God for Jesus :)

God gave the garden to man to manage it. ( Gen 2:15; )
We don't know how long Adam and Eve were in the garden. Some say it could have been a few weeks. Others say it could have been millions of years.
One argument is Adam lived to be 930 years old ( Gen 5:5; )
But it's possible he didn't start aging ( toward the death that was promised ) until he ate the fruit.
It's possible Adam and Eve could have been there another billion years. No one knows for sure except God.

Adam and Eve were human beings, created from the ground (Eve out of Adam), mortal beings. They weren't immortal before sinning. No scripture states such a thing, it's just an old myth. They would have died eventually. The type of death they received from the sin was a spiritual death and it occurred the day they sinned.

Revelations 22:1-5 speaks of the garden being restored. Can anyone speak of this?
There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. (Revelation 22:5 NIV)
If the garden is restored somehow and man never fell then these 5 verses would be interesting.
