I used to go to church every sunday with my family growing up, but when my great grandma passed, we rarely ever went. This was the start to the things going wrong in my life. But up until recently they have gotten worse. My Gf and I of 2.5 years recently broke up and she was the only friend i had. I dont have anyone to talk to now, and im trying to get back to God. Please someone talk to me. Thanks.

The Father is always waiting at the roadside with ring and robe in hand awaiting the return of His prodigal son. He has been waiting expectantly since the day you left and is already beginning to celebrate your return.
Do not walk but run into the arms of Love.
Find a good bible believing church and attend regulary.
Spend some time talking to Him (prayer).
Spend some time in worship. This is intimate time with Him; we pour out our love and He pours out His. Like to wines mixing in one glass we have the most intimate communion.
Go ahead, He is waiting!
You are in my prayers.
Many blessings in His Name,
your brother Larry.
Luk 15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
Luk 15:5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
Luk 15:6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
Luk 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
Luk 15:8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
Luk 15:9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.
Luk 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
Luk 15:11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:
Luk 15:12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
Luk 15:13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
Luk 15:14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
Luk 15:15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
Luk 15:16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
Luk 15:17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
Luk 15:18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
Luk 15:19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
Luk 15:20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
Luk 15:21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
Luk 15:22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
Luk 15:23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
Luk 15:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

Hello HelpMePlease,

God's arms are forever open to His children. His hands are always reaching out to us to pull us up. His words are always full of encouragement and He's forever seeking to bring us closer to Him.

One of the reasons we fear turning back to God is because we feel our own guilt and condemnation, including those of Satan, the father of lies and the persistent accuser of the brethren. BUT we have Jesus, our OWN advocate and High Priest in heaven before the Father, the almighty and ever merciful God who loves us with a deep, abiding and unconditional love that NEVER fails and NEVER condemns.

The Bible says He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and that as far as the East is from the West, so far will He remove our transgressions from us...Read Psalm 103:8-12 and that these He will remember no more.

So, please be very encouraged. God loves you so deeply, so passionately, it will take your breath away just thinking about it. Come on back to Him. Come on back home. His arms are outstretched, reaching out to welcome you. Don't be afraid. He knows everything anyway and He STILL loves you, in spite of it all.

Come on back home where you belong, in the shadow of His mighty wings. He is a fortress, a very present help in trouble, our safe haven and a place of rest. Come on home and let the Glory and Praise be to Him who's called Faithful and True...our own dear sweet, amazing Jesus!!

Phoenix.

Isaiah 41:10

10Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Matthew 6:14 (King James Version)

14For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you

And for comfort and a reminder of why we are all here:

1 Thessalonians 5 (King James Version)

1 Thessalonians 5

1But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
7For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
12And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
13And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
14Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
15See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
16Rejoice evermore.
17Pray without ceasing.
18In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
19Quench not the Spirit.
20Despise not prophesyings.
21Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
22Abstain from all appearance of evil.
23And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
25Brethren, pray for us.
26Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.
27I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren. 28The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Live for the Lord. Just pray and tell him that you will live for him. Commit and surrender all of your pain, anger and sorrow. God does not want us to live in suffering. He wants us to feel the same joys he does. And if he can forgive us... the people whom he had to sacrifice his son for; the people that sin against him everyday and hurt his feelings, then surely we can forgive others. The path to happiness and peace always begins with forgiveness. You don't have to live in darkness anymore. Seek out the Lord and he will answer. Read the scriptures I have provided and if you need anything, whether it be encouragement or just someone to talk to, I will be here. I am praying for you.

Hi HelpMePlease

I don't post much, but might try more these days as there is some excellent content here.

It is good that you feel encouraged from what you have read. Have you experience of not "just" turning the word of God in ways of a reading action - but whatabout actually fellowshipping with christians... it can take some time to find the church you want, it may not even be the same type of church you went to (that you referred to), but there is a great strength in company.... do not try and do this alone (humanly speaking). It is difficult to walk into a church, but if it is the right church for you, you should be encouraged by a warm welcome.

Mike

Nice to see you
God will always help you and things never happen without reason. maybe it was a sign to come back to God. May the future be with Him

Radio and TV

Hallo,
could anybody help me with this radio on our forum. I clicked on it but it doesn't work. is there a special time when I can listen to it? I'm online now and can't find it

"I will never leave you nor forsake you" The Word of God says. God is there waiting for you...for us all to reach out to Him.

James 4:8 says that we are to make the first step. The first step is always the hardest. Make it and God promises to draw near to you.

Praise God He has been faithful in all things.

Another Psalm

There's another Psalm. I don't remember which one it is, but it says, "Wait on the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait on the Lord." Maybe I can give you the reference tomorrow, but I have to go, now.

I used to go to church every sunday with my family growing up, but when my great grandma passed, we rarely ever went. This was the start to the things going wrong in my life. God desires a deep and close relationship with each of us. sometimes God puts up road blocks so we will come back to him full force. on an eternal scope only He is worthwhile and only He has any value. not trying to make light of your heart ache. but everything else will pass. i believe He is already at work in your life. 3 levels of prayer. asking seeking and knocking.

right now in the body a lot of people who have "drifted" from God are coming back to his light. im one of them. get in a church. and give all to him. humble yourself, ask for him to reveal any sin and pride so you can repent. next seek him on what he wants. if thats not getting it beat on heavens door with prayer. any stress/anxiety you have lay it at his feet. leave it there. dont pick it back up. let him deal with it. he bought us with his own blood and suffering and he is worthy for us to lay down all(life/burdens/anything)

God is all or nothing at all.

Another Psalm About Waiting on the Lord

I found another Psalm about waiting on the Lord. Psalm 27:14 says, "Wait on the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait on the Lord."
God has never left you, but if you want to get back to Him, you can always, always, always rededicate yourself to Him. All you have to do is go back to Him and ask Him to forgive you for walking away from Him and ask Him to start a new relationship, start over. Guess what!? If you do this, you get a fresh, clean slate! Kind of like at school when you start a new marking period or semester -- or trimester, or however your school year is divided up (if you still go to school) -- you get a fresh, clean slate; all A's, new classes maybe.
Same thing here; if you ask God, He will give you a fresh, clean slate and start over with you with no problem at all. God wants very eagerly to spend time with you, and all you need to do is to get into His Word every day, and pray everyday. Now, you don't have to do the old-fashioned getting on your knees by your bed thing and folding your hands. You can if you want to, but you don't have to. You can just talk to Him like you talk to your friend(s).
God is your Friend. God is everyone's friend. You just have to become His by doing what He says to do in His Word.
I'll talk more later, but I'm at school, and the bell just rang. So . . .
See ya.
