I couldn't regularly meditate on the Bible!

Dear Brethren,

Previously, I was reading and meditating the Holy Scriptures every day but now, I stopped doing it and even on or with my own efforts, i cannot read neither meditate on the Bible. Please, I am dieing on stopping listening to my Lord and my Father in heaven Whom is also my GOD through Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I also feel ashamed when praying and asking for His pardon about the same.

By the way, I set my heart on becoming and serving Jesus Christ for and in my whole life but I cannot if i remain abiding into laziness to ray and meditate on the Bible. "[HIGH-LIGHT]Oh my Lord GOD come to help me and please set me strong and full of your Holy Spirit so that I be and remain efficient into the field where you really need to witness Your Word and win souls for Your kingdom to come here on earth. Amen![/HIGH-LIGHT]".

This may or may not help you, but when I read the word, [HIGH-LIGHT]I have a highlighter[/HIGH-LIGHT], and every time I read a scripture or scriptures that jump out at me I highlight it.

There are days when the flesh, mind or whatever gets burned out, discouraged etc. When I feel like this, I pick up my bible and just start going through all the highlighted scriptures, they rekindle the sparks and sometimes I ask myself, what was that marked for? So then I have to search around the chapter till I figure it out. It may not be structured reading, but it is still staying in the word.

Some people think you should not mark in your bible....I am not one of those people, when I eat I am messy.:wink:

Alive4Jesus, don't go by your feelings, live by faith. Your cry for help shows that you still love the Lord and that you want Him in your life. If satan can pull us from Christ through our feelings then he has won a victory don't give him that luxury. Get involved in a thread expressing your beliefs it will help you meditate on the word, or start a thread expressing your belief. Start using this thread.

Get involved, when you talk to others wether in person or via the internet it will put your mind back on Christ because it will make you think. Get involved with other sincere believers of you church.

Talking about Jesus with others will help you tremendously.
