I am who you say I am.

There is a popular saying in some Christian circles these days. There are even at least 2 songs that say.. "I am who you say I am".

This phrase isn't in any of the Bible I have, but none-the-less, I still believe there is some truth in it.

We are who Jesus says we are, it's true.

He said some of us were sons of God, He even called some of us righteous.

But then again, Jesus said some people were sons of hell, He called some people a brood of vipers.
He said some people were hypocrites, and others worshiped Him with their lips only.
He called some people dogs, and said other were whitewashed tombs.

It's true, you are who Jesus says you are... but I think many people will be surprised who Jesus says they are.

Metaphorically He said some were weeds (tares), some were bad fish, and some were goats.
He said some were foolish people who built their house on the sand.
