Howdy precious ones in Christ. My first name is Joel. I live in the Flathead and Mission Valley of Montana.
I love to write praise/prayer music for the Lord, I enjoy when the Lords, Holy Spirit leads me in painting upon canvas. I truly was not aware of all the gifts G-D has blessed me with until I gave my heart truly to Jesus.

Hobbies; Collecting rocks(rockhounding) brought me into how amazing Our Father(G-D Almighty) has designed so many gems, that they are not listed in any book, except for His; (growing flowers) Even flowers are designed in ways I can only imagine; (miniature antique car replicas) I enjoy the Blessing of how G-D has given man so much knowledge, yet does G-D await our praise.

Thank You Dearest Father for Your precious ones in Jesus, Holy Spirit, alone do You know each and everyone of our needs, touch these hearts Lord Jesus, help them to open to receive everything that You have for us, whether in discipline or joy, we always gain Your Love, in Jesus this I pray.

My desire is to awaken/open our hearts this day to have a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ through His Love and Word as Thy Holy Spirit guides us.

Why do you spell God, G-d?

The spelling of God as "G_d" is becoming increasingly popular on the internet. But what does it mean? Why are people spelling God without the "o"?

Hebrew, Egyptian and a few other languages wrote only consonants -- no vowels. This is why Jews spell out Jehovah's name, YAHWEH, as YHWH (no vowels). So instead of typing out "God" in modern English, many Jews choose to use the term "G_d" to show respect. I've learned that some Jews believe it is destroying God's name when you close a web page, so they spell God without the "o" to avoid doing so, thus avoiding any disrespect. The "o" is removed for obvious reasons. It wouldn't work well to spell God as "Go" or "od, "so the term "G_d" is used. It is also sometimes spelled "G_D."...Jesus-is-saviour.com

This was a Jewish thing..not nessacary for us Christians but some do it. Some might say its not proper english to do so, or disrespectful to God, not spelling it out.

Why do you spell God, G-d?

Dear Cody, GOD or G-D to me is the same in my heart, yet the Holy Spirit showed me in G-D I was in recognition of that there is so much in Him, that I write it out of adoration for Him.
Wikipedia- shares it this way, I do not see it as sin, yet in loving adoration.
The words "God" and "Lord" (used for the Hebrew Adonai) are often written by many Jews as "G-d" and "L-rd" as a way of avoiding writing a name of God, so as to avoid the risk of sinning by erasing or defacing His name.
