Your name Jesus Pumpkin

Memory lane for me.

My husband always called my daughter Linda, Pumpkin when she was a little girl.

Back in Nov. of 1996. I had, had my first heart attack and was in bed. It was a warm fall night and the window was open. My daughter was over with her 2 children. My husband and Linda were standing in the driveway below the window and I could hear them talking. He called her Pumpkin that night. Did not think that much of it as it was a Fri. night. They went on to talk about the next day Sat. when, he would pick them up, and take our 2 grandchildren Jen and Chris to the Circus the next day. Then I heard about the good time at the Circus.

Sun. came and went. (I was really being prepared for Mon. morning).

Monday morning, my husband laied down on the coach and died.

With fond and warm feeling I am grateful for that time set apart, below my window. As he had not called her Pumpkin in years.

Maybe I will make Linda something this year with Pumpkin in it. Maybe about 11/11/09.

In the meantime I am making her birthday card. Yes her Birthday is in June and it takes me a LONG time. She is always saying "whatever". I am having a great exciting time with her card.
