Andreas, the Bible speaks of us "wrestling with principalities" in Ephesians 6:12. Those principalities mentioned are from the enemy. Some of the spirits that we wrestle include a spirit of heaviness (Mentioned in Isaiah 61:3) which can manifest itself in feelings of sorrow & grief (mentioned in Nehemiah 2:2 & Proverbs 15:13) or Despair (mentioned in 2 Corinthians 1:8,9). This can account for the uneasiness your friend feels. The spirits she is wrestling with are with her everywhere she goes & are made worse when they encounter the peace she is sensing when she visits her friend. The spirits are "wrestling one another" as mentioned in the above Ephesians passage.
However, God doesn't just inform us of it...he provides the way to relief. In the same chapter of Ephesians, He tells us how to clothe ourselves with the armor of God. Have your friend pray this prayer each day - praying the scriptures is powerful.
You are perfect 100% if born of GOD ,yet o0ur minds must be renewed ,Because NOW we are spirits 1st ,The mind or soul is where our battle is ,if we walk in our spirit ,we can not sin willingly .Because we [in our inner being ]wants more than anything to follow JESUS CHRIST .The mind or soul [same ]is where all our problems are .Isa 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? This is the way we walk in our spirit .We should ALl FAST once in a while .As this puts the flesh under the inner man for sure .I find 3 full days ,water ,the word and prayer ,will take us to that place .Everything is really very simple ?But we find it hard to really put ourselves aside ?We are happy where we are ?in TRUTh ?Most are little use to the LORD .Because we can not hear HIm clearly ,but do as our understanding leads us .Where we should be speaking too HIm all the time .And being used all the time as this is HIS desire !This is why HE died ,To bring us ,if willing ,to the place HE personally talks and walks with us all .Because the kingdom is here now ,with in our hearts or we can say ?SPIRITS which we are 1st above all else .perfect beings .After the 2nd adam .JESUS CHRIST our pattern ,that we must follow .We let satan trick us ,by following teaching of man kind .instead of listening to the HOLY SPIRIT .Who longs to teach us everything and anything .We need to ask always in every thing we do .Walking in OUR spirit .We can hear HIM clearly .Most do not know who they are ,there purpose on earth and there finish .or the GREAT reward waiting on them ,if they only turn ALL over to HIm .AS they can only GAIn ?yet many hold back some ,thinking they may loose something ?Everything HE has done was 100% for us only .Still many hold back from HIm .HE MUST be LORD of all we have and ll we are .Because HE is anyway .But HE wants nothing from us ,but to bless us perfectly always .I think sometimes we do not know we hold back things ?ASK HIm ,LORD am I in your PERFECT will .or have I held back someone or something .If so take it from me .I desire to be JUST LIKE YOU FATHER ,in the name of JESUS CHRIST ,make it so .
