A single arm from most big cacti (?) costs about a hundred bucks.
It is always worth a simple phone call to find out if there is any value in a plant before throwing it away.
I realize that agave are not cactus, but I have been surprised at nurseries before.

Don't do this again (bolded quote above). Remember that the Hebrew, Greek manuscripts used to translate were not the original autographs. Also, Talk Jesus has not stated that one Translation holds status over all others. Be mindful of this, and respectful of others.

Of course this one is saying he protects us from other's evil deeds. Not the consequence of our own.

That may be true in most cases but I am sure when one realizes the evil that one has done and saw the hurt and the damage it has caused, that brother or sister can still call on the Lord for help in holding off some if not all of the consequences coming as a result of an evil deed.

But I was applying that verse of 2 Timothy 4:18 to the inner sinful nature as in ...

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

This is why the religious altar call to call sinners to come forward to make a commitment to follow Christ in order to be saved is not of Him because sinners know how much sin has dominion over their lives.

Jesus Christ did not come to just give us eternal life, but to deliver us from our bondage to sin and to death. Sinners need Jesus Christ in them for that is when they have power to live as the sons of God.

Jesus Christ Whom has reconciled us to God is ALSO the One that can help us live that reconcile relationship with God which is why the just shall not live by their commitment to follow Christ, but by faith in Him and all His promises to us.

If any one has sung all the verses to Amazing Grace, and identify with all those verses, then those who have quit keeping their commitment to follow Christ because of recurring sin and those who have not come to Jesus Christ to believe in Him to be saved because they think they have to repent of all sin, should know that by the same grace of God we are saved by, so is by the same grace of God we follow Him by. It is all on Him so trust Him for everything. Hope in Him for everything. He will help you discern and put aside every provision for the flesh, every weight & sin, so you can enjoy walking with the Father & the Son in the light that your joy may be full seeing how sin does not have dominion over your life any more.
