How does JESUS tells us He lives in us?

There are so many people saying that Christ lives in me, or that they have Christ within them.

But HOW is it that Christ tells us He will dwell within us is the question most do not ask.

Do you know just how it is that JESUS says, not man, how He lives within and how His spirit is in us?

Let's us scriptures for the answer and not feelings for a change!

Now what does God word tell us it is that is spirit and will give life? That's what you should be looking for?

So, how does God interpret it then?

Well....there is only one way that Jesus tells us that He and the Father dwells within us....and it's NOT them, the actual beings, that are inside of us.

Let's read how Jesus tells us how He and the Father dwell within;

John 6
[33] For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
[34] Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.

Now let's read if Jesus was really talking about the bread you eat;

[35] And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

So...did Jesus want them, us, to eat Him? That would be hard to do for us...seeing He is now at the right hand of the Father (Humm: Jesus is NEXT to Himself?) Let's continue...

[38] For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

Wait! How can Jesus NOT come to do His will if He is both the Father AND the Son at the same time? Let's move on....to the bread that is to be eaten.....

[51] I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Again....is Jesus just toying with them or does He really want them to eat His flesh? Will eating His flesh give life everlasting as He says?

[53] Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Now He tells us if we do NOT eat His flesh and drink His blood there is NO life in us! Again....if He is speaking about His actual flesh...those of us living now are doomed! Let's read more....

[54] Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
[55] For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

Now Jesus goes back to saying if we eat His flesh and drink His blood we WILL have eternal life! But wait....I thought it was FAITH that gave eternal life! So which is it? Let's read more for the answer.....

[56] He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

Well....we got the answer....but can this be right? How can we eat Jesus flesh and drink His blood so that He dwells is us and we in Him?

One thing for sure....this is something we MUST do in order to receive eternal life; "...if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever...", "...Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life...", "...Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you."

So just HOW is it Jesus tells us He lives in us? Let's read....

[63] It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

So NOW we know what is is that Jesus was saying. He does not want us to eat His flesh or drink His blood to have Him dwell in us.

He wants us to consume His WORDS!!! That is how He dwells in us. He tells us it's His WORDS that are spirit. And it's His WORDS that are life.

And what did He say about those words? Were they HIS words? No! They are the words of the one that sent Him;

John 17
[8] For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

So if we have the words of Jesus dwelling in us we have the words of the Father. And that means we have BOTH of their spirits dwelling in us, because Jesus said, "...the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."

Not only do their spirit now dwell in us, we are now ONE with them;

[17] Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
[20] Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
[21] That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

Well now.....this ALL makes sense!

THIS is how Jesus tells us He dwells within each of us. If someone is saying or claims something other than the teachings of Jesus.......

I would be very careful!

So are you saying to all those readers that's keeping tabs on this thread, that you cannot see how when Jesus said;

And then said;

That He was talking about the WORDS that He was speaking was what He was talking about being inside of them?

If they had His WORDS, they had His SPIRIT dwelling within!

This does NOT make sence to you?

Nor when He said;

That Jesus was trying to tell us HOW ALL that have and bring the same message are all one, just as He and the Father are one?

How about this;

"So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another."

"For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread."

"For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ."

Are you saying there is just no way you can see that what Jesus is trying to tell us is that ALL that EAT of the SAME bread, which are HIs WORDS, are all ONE!

You cannot see that ALL that bring the same MESSAGE are also all ONE?

Which is why God's word tells us the following;

"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

And WHY are they ONE?

"The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:"

Because Jesus got the message from God the Father, who then Gave that same message to the Holy Spirit, who in turn gave that same message to John to give to all of mankind!

This does not make sense to you?

He dwells in us through His WORDS!

It says that he thats eats His flesh and drinks His blood , dwells in Him and Jesus in him.

Not eat words but flesh and blood. The words just Lead to this and are essential but the words lead to faith in Christ. Rom 10:17
And the eating and drinking is symbolic but it means if you believe in sacrafice of Jesus then He will dwell with you. Gal 3:2

Because the jews were ordered to eat passover lamb in egypt and I believe Jesus was using reference to this in what He said.

So that if you eat Him, in faith, and not literally then you will be saved.


Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.


Gal 3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

there were also people namely the pharisees who did know God's word well but were they born again did they believe in Jesus and understand He was messiah? No.

Its the faith through word that we need.

so God's word lead us to faith...

Jesus said his words were spirit and they were life.
We need the Holy Spirit to make those words alive.
Once those words are alive we can be enabled to keep them.
If we keep those words it triggers another event.Jesus and the Father will come to him and make their abode with him.The inclusion of the Father leads me to believe there is more than a word indwelling happening.

John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

It seems to me God and Jesus are looking for a body.I know Jesus is the head of the body of Christ however these instructions are for individuals.
