How Do I Fight for God?

We had an argument in my room and my roommate asked why a fornicator and a murderer have to be sent to hell together when one cause more harm than the other. Now i couldn't answer at that point in time and even as i prayed, i feel i ended up disappointing myself and God cause she wasn't convinced. But along the way, with the conversation diverting, we came across Adam and Eve and she wont stop blaming her for not just obeying God. Now there is a similarity there cause a fornicator can always just obey God's word and avoid future error. My problem now is I want to tell her the connection between the two. But the conversation has been over for about 5 minutes and i don't know what to do. Should i wait, look for a better situation or what?. Did i disappoint God?. I feel I did. I should have persisted harder.

Is it possible that God put you in that situation to show you your not ready to fight for him yet as you've admitted that you have not "studied to show yourself approved knowing how to answer every man." Or woman in this case. And this then is a blessing telling you to study more and he will provide the needed
education so the next time this comes up you will know how to answer. It causes us to seek out the answers that he wants us to know he just uses those close to us to ask the questions sometimes!
God is not limited in resources and if he wants her question resolved for her he will send someone to answer it, usually two different people at two different times.

So don't beat yourself up it's just your Father nudging you a bit, and he does tell us that those whom he does not chasten remain bastards. i.e. Fatherless.

I can tell you how I fight for God o.k. The first thing to do is to live in such manner that your live pleases Jesus. Whatever the situation, or consequence, we belong to Jesus. The joy of this is that the Holy Spirit begins to work. You see as we follow Jesus, in all the situations life presents, we may not always have the answer but such answer as we give is used by the Holy Spirit to help and bless. Keeping Him in mind you will discover this happens.

Praying the Blessing of the Lord God Almighty rest upon you, as you follow Him...…..Do not worry IT WILL Amen

Your room mate knows a lot about you, specifically whether your life reflects the life of Christ. Generosity, forgiveness, peace, grace and love.

That's worth a thousand times more than any argument lost or won.

If at all possible, don't get into arguments. If your roommate comes up with a reason to reject Jesus, andcyou don't have a ready answer, say 'I've not really considered that in depth before. I'll ask around and see if I can find an answer for you.'
