How can you make God known to people who don't believe?

Hi there, so I am a Christian, and were born into a Christian family. I have a great love for Christ, but I have a girlfriend who is not a Christian, but she does believe there is a God out there. She wasn't born into a Christian family, and doesn't have good knowledge about Christ. She has tried to read the bible but says she doesn't understand it and therefore she doesn't want any more of it. I spend long periods away from her quite often, so it's really hard to teach her about God. So how do you tell a person who doesn't know God to give all your heart to Him, without any friends or family to help her continuously? How do you make God known to someone in a simple and easy way? And can I stay in a relationship with her or do I say you don't believe enough so I can't marry you?

I find it's almost impossible to witness to someone who I am in a relationship with (from past experience). Instead of focusing on Christ when you are speaking with them about the subject, the focus is instead on you, because you are the person they are attracted to. It's very distracting from gospel. If that person does claim to accept Christ, it's often only to make the person they are dating or seeing happy, and to win points in their book. If she thinks that she has to become a Christian to stay with you, she may decide to "become a Christian," just because she likes you. That's a dangerous game.

Let me ask you this though, why are you dating someone who is not a believer? At the core of the person, a believer and an unbeliever are complete opposite. One belongs to Christ's Kingdom, the other to Satan's kingdom. Superficially, they can interact with and enjoy one another, but if you go much deeper, there is always going to be a huge disconnect at some point. Dating unbelievers, as a believer, is risking business. I wouldn't take that risk myself, knowing what I know.

Just saying,

Travis

very good questions ! fisrt off the bible is confusing to lot of folks until youve a heart for it ,,live it before Her love her as she is in Christ and win her heart first then her soul // you see its Christ alone that makes the blind to see not us or any thing we do ,,,lead her to a better ubderstanding of Christ by showing her unconditional love and abounding joy in you and let the holy spirit draw her to Christ....tell her of Gods mercy and His never ending grace towards us and share youre testimoney every chance you can ,,,,,Rev

First you can't make God known to anyone nor will God make anyone.
Just witness, tell them about the Bible , teach the gospel that saves, pray.
You can lead a Horse to water but you can't make him drink.
Plant the seeds and let God manage the believing part.
