Holiness anyone?

In the modern day body of Christ, in your local congregation of believers, or in Christendom today, is Holiness talked about much?

Is it lifted up?

I know people talk about being saved and being justified, and they seem to rely on imputed righteousness.
But in terms of living a life of holiness, staying away from sin, how much do you hear that preached?

I often hear people downplay holiness saying, "I'm not a holy-roller" or "I'm not perfect", seeming to minimize holiness.

What is your observation in your area?

in my church the way you live is talked about very much. My preacher will call out sin in a heart beat. Most other churches I see do not speak much on how we live, as if it does not matter.

WE have messages dealing with practical holiness (not just the "Clothesline" Holiness that the AG used to concentrate on) on a regular basis.

Hello,
Being Holy means to set yourself apart for the lord.

Romans 12:2 - And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Colossians 3:1-3 - If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
