Hey. Let's hit the ground running. I am indeed an atheist/agnostic/humanist/<insert label here>, who was once a catholic but left the church for various reasons. Don't hate me for part of who I am and I won't return the favour.

Well that's the unpleasantness out of the way, I'm sure it will be nice to meet you all and discuss various topics with you. All in all religion isn't really a major thing to me in who a person is, what's more important is who they are as a person. If they are an atheist and indescribably rude then I will dislike them, and if they are christian and likewise then I will do the same.

Question: who are you an advocate of?

Check out the evidence & prophecy forums for some insight into the validity of the Holy Bible. I can only assume you joined a Christian community to learn about it, not dispute it.

I don't really know, it's one of those times where to find a forum name you open a dictionary and flick to a random page. I'd consider this flick a pretty lucky one, Advocate is a nice word.

I'll try my best not to constantly argue points made and to learn all your opinions, but I won't withhold my own opinion in matters. Isn't that what forums are all about?

The forum is clear on what we're about. Teaching about Jesus Christ (see logo right and left). Its not about debating (see forum rules you agreed to upon registering). We believe in the Holy Bible. That's final. We're not interested in anything else, I'm sure you already figured that out since you know it is a Christian forum.
