Christian but dont feel like one. Deal with many issues bourne much bad fruit and created many of my own trials, but wish all here a blessed day. This may fall under the title of self-condemming and have nothing to do with him but need some support.

Welcome to the forum by the way I am new too. First I want to say I am sure you are not alone in creating problems and trials to yourself. I know I can relate to that myself. I have created problem after problem for myself over the years. It even affected my walk with the Lord for a while until I realized just how much I needed Him actively in my life. I am not exactly sure where your own walk is, but I encourage you to find a good church if you haven’t already, one with strong believers. Maybe a smaller church so you can get to know people and of course the pastor is teaching the bible correctly. Also I encourage you to be in His word everyday as well, even if it’s reading one or two verses at least start with that. I think the best time to read is when you wake up so it starts off your day and if you want to before you go to bed. When times are tough it’s when we need Him more. Feel free to send me message here if you ever need to talk with someone.

But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

I'm new here also and this just happens to be the first post I've read and my first post to reply to.

If you've asked Jesus to come into your heart and life and be your Lord and Savior and forgive you of sin , and were sincere and truly repented, then you ARE a Christian. Don't fall under the guilt and condemnation of "feelings" that your not saved just because you may not read your Bible everyday , or pray 12 hours a day, or pay your tithes and offerings, or even attend a Church. You may still slip up and curse or even go out and get drunk or stoned on a weak moment , whatever area you find yourself weak in. You may have born some bad fruit or walked some rough trials but all that is the past. As long as your in this flesh coat of skin...you will fail. If your struggling with things it only proves your salvation, lost folks don't feel guilt over there sin , they ravish in it. You are a "new creation in Christ", stand on that , walk in that, and tell the Devil to just 'deal with that' !

No one is or ever will be perfect, or perfection is in Christ Jesus....alone. We must have the attitude of heart that though I will fail and fall short I will do my best to serve Him in Holiness. Though the world may see a poor example , I serve him because I love Him.
