Hi, my name's Sarah. I'm new here. I am not a Christian, and a friend of mine asked me to spend some time online exploring to see if maybe something spoke to me. I'm willing to listen. I am not one of the atheists that isn't open to learning and listening to new ideas. I just can't believe in god. I have tried to wrap my brain around christianity and it's just never worked out for me. So, I guess I've thoroughly introduced myself.

when I was in high school,my TX english teacher showed me a movie,called .Passion Sunday and the man jesus can't out of my mind never,I thought he is great ever.then I grown up latter and sometimes read bible,when I felt sin of my hand , I started seek jesus,not because I believe in god,because the truth really true.....then god chosen me to strong my faith.....hope it helps,so jesus is the fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness

and now since following jesus,I gaven up smoking and lust(this one is really hard one to gaven up) so there is no communion hath light with darkness

I would love to know why you don't believe in God.
In order not to clutter the thread, I would love to propose you start a thread titled something like "why I don't believe there is a God" and we can talk from there.

I will be happy to talk to you as I cannot comprehend how can one be an atheist

Hi Sarah

Brave of you to come here That's cool I think. I'm new here too. I don't know you, but I believe that when a lot of people doesn't find christianity "something for them", and they just can't believe in God - it has a reason. And the reason is not that there isn't a God.

Are you familiar with culture-christians and christians who live it out? Most people who calls themselves christians are culture-christians, and it is hard to meet God through a person like that. Because when you are around living-christians you get to see some of God. Because what we are supose to do is: be christlike! We have to do what we can to be like Jesus.

And when you are around people who does that, you are going to meet Him, because he loves you like you will never get to understand. He wants you to be saved so much!! And he will do it - because he is God. But if you are with people who say they are christians, but don't really live it out - you will not see God. You will see: THE WORLD! And believe me, you don't need that. The world you have been looking at far too long.

I promise you with all my heart and all my soul - there IS a God. And not only is there a God. There is a God who loves you more than all the love in the world combined. And a God who will give you a new AMAZING life. :shade:
