Hellu everyone,

The way I'm first time here, I'll just introduce myself.

My name is Elisabeth, but you can call me as you wish, or just Shy. I'm 18 years old, my nationality if polish but I live in Spain, and I'm here because I just had a feeling I should be here.

However, I'm afraid you might not like me, since I'm not those kind of people saying always: "God Bless you my friend" and such stuff. I just don't feel comfortable with it, probably because of all the things that happened in my past. :sadface:

But still, I'm a Catholic person, and so is my family, hope I will enjoy my stay here.

You know, often because of our own insecurities and all that, that we behave in certain ways, afraid if we are too loving, it means we accept and approve of something that someone does or is.
Also, if we become all Pharisee and be, you know, behave funny and not so nice with someone that we set a bad example and are not loving and accepting etc.

Yet Yeshua (Jesus) was able to transcend all this.
This is what so many Christians often forget or, well, simply can not match and do.

Although not in the Bible, I love the Jesus of Nazareth version with Robert Powell in, where Peter is so against Jesus going into the house of the tax collector and they act all, you know worldly and in comes Jesus, like entering a brothel and then he begins to tell the story of the prodigal son, and before you know it, Peter enters and practically in tears breaks down, 'Forgive me master.'

I often use the woman at the well for preaching this sort of thing.

So no, don't feel out of place, welcome and I hope you enjoy your stay here, bless you much.
