Hellosss

hey everyone, from all the nations,
i was wondering if i could collect as many kinds of "hellos" as i could!
i mean, each one of us would post a note, in which you would say how people in your culture or familly...say hi or hello...

i would start, in Lebanon, we say: marhaba

Around these parts, they say, "Hi, how y'all doing?" Took a long time for me to get used to that. Up north where I'm from they just wave or say Hi.

we say moi, hei, moikka, terve, moro or almost anything like that with friends and family.
"Hei" is the best word for saying "hello" to someone more respectful or someone you don't know. :D
This is how we speak in Finland, in Finnish.

i have moved your post to the lounge manal as i think it will be better here.

Over here in England we say Hi or Hello

God bless  :rainbow: :rose:
