Welcome aboard Magdalene12!
Hope you find much fellowship & growth here at TJ.
The moment you repented and believed in the Death & Resurrection of YOUR Lord and Savior was the moment you could stop worrying. Difficult I know. The world, our own thoughts will continue to plague us, and try to pull us back, telling us we not worthy, what did we ever do to deserve such a gift etc...To be honest, there was never anything you could have done to deserve the gift through your Savior, that you've been given. But don't let that get you down! There's none that have deserved this precious gift! Even the world is not enough to buy this gift! Does this mean that things will be easy? NO!
Sometimes it can get even harder, but hold on to your faith that he will not ever, ever, ever leave you!
John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.
Will you make mistakes? Will it be tough to change from who we used to be? To leave the things that are not of God? Yes. We all want to believe that we'll take off running; but what child when first born starts to run? We crawl, we take baby steps, we continue to move forward, to grow. Like any child at first, we need nourishment, and that is through His Word (The Holy Bible), Praying (Communicating), fellowship (hanging out) with other believers, cutting ties with the things that will try to tie us down to our previous life. See what I mean. Easy? Nope.
You've been led to TJ! It's a good place where you can continue to grow, pray, fellowship with other brothers & sisters in Christ Jesus. If I may suggest (Sorry for not waiting for an answer ), start finding sometime by yourself, where you can read the Bible, praying, and make it a daily habit! You've got older habits that need to be replaced with good ones. It may be difficult at first, but keep at it. Keep in mind that you; as I've stated before, TJ has many brothers & sisters in Christ Jesus who willing to help!
Just keep in mind (Your testimony/forgiveness) that if you have repented, then you have been forgiven little sister! No if, and, buts about it! You've been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb!

Praying Dear Sister.
Heavenly Father I bring before you this little child of yours, who is seeking guidance and help. As you have guided me from all my foolishness, wrong ways; yet you continue to love me in spite of them. So I pray for you to touch her heart and bring her to a right understanding of Your Gracious Love. Direct her steps that she may give You the honor, glory, and praise in all things. Wipe away any thought that would have her hold on to the past that was not of You Father God. In Your Holy Name I pray this and ask You this through Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior! Amen.
