I registered last night but my internet locked up on me, so I had to get offline. Just tried coming here in my Firefox browser, but it crashed on me 3 times, so I'm forced to use IE. Oh well...
Anyway, I found this site through a Google search on anointing oil. My mother died recently and the sister who owns the 'family' home is evicting me and one of my other sisters (Kat) from here. I had not planned to continue staying here, but Kat cannot work (been denied disabilty twice) and has no where to go. Never mind that she, in spite of her physical and medical problems, took care of Mom these past five years. Never mind that I gave up a job and took care of Dad for three years before he died. I've been here a little over a year, and though I could have probly moved out before now, I believe God wanted me here because, of course, he knew what was going to happen. My sister is doing this out of total animosity for Kat and I'm caught in the middle. The devil has been working on her for years and now she thinks she is going to triumph over Kat. Her ultimate dream was to put Kat out on the street with no where to go. I've vowed to not let that happen, so Kat is coming with me, even though there isn't a lot of room at my place.
Didn't really mean to get into all that here, but it's part of the reason I found this site. I've rededicated my life to Christ and my relationship with the Father. Truly, if not for that, I'd be committed to an asylum now, as it hurts me deeply that any member of my family would do such. But He has helped me tremendously and continues to help. In the midst of this nastiness, I have peace and assurance.
I have forgiven and blessed her (the landlord sister) and I'm gently prodding Kat back into a relationship with God and His Son. We are supposed to go to court this coming Thursday, because the landlord sister wants the money we don't have. She demanded $350 a month, then changed it to $400...! She knows Kat has no money, and that I don't make that much...$400 is half my monthly income!
But we are moving out...and would have been out but for time and money.
Ok...I'll cut this off here as it's turning into a book! When we move, we won't have internet for a while, but I'll be going to the library to check email and such till we do.
I'm glad I've found this site, and I am quite selective in where I join, so I want to say this site looks very nice and I've already found answers before even joining. Thank you for that and Thank God for leading me here and his continued blessings for me and Kat.
