I became born again in 1975

Prior to this I was very agnostic and cynical
If I could not experience something outside of my five senses it had no meaning to me. This included history and non scientifically provable things.
Our "Age of reasoning" founding fathers (U.S.) would have been proud of me.

I got depressed. Depressed agnostics sometimes come to the conclusion no life is better than bad life.
Just before I opted for no life I said, "If you are there God then let me know because I'm outta here". I was happy and peaceful with the thought of not having to wake up again.
God is real and He let me know it.
He revealed three things to me in a way that I could not deny.
1 The one and only God exists
2 He loves me
3 The Holy Bible is true

I didn't have to act on these three things but I could not deny them either.
I was astonished that I could know and believe something was true without input from my five senses.
I didn't get goose bumps or audibly hear anything or see anything that wasn't there.
Of course I decided to learn as much as I could about God who revealed Himself to me and follow him no matter what.
The part about the Holy Bible is true has been a solid foundation throughout my walk.

Testimonies of the saints encourage like nothing else.

Your timing is amazing.
Last week at work I found a road map of Tasmania. I specifically looked for the location of Hobart. And I have just finished reading three books on the persecution in China. I don't know if Catherine is from China but my heart leaped when I read the testimonies.
