I need help because i'm not sure what to do. I want to keep my faith without killing my son.

This question is so obvious I kind of smell a trap. Something like Nathan's parable to king David, saying "you are the man!" (). I almost expect every Christian to give their answer, that this could not be of God, and the originator of the thread to reply, "then why do you believe it was of God with Isaac or Christ?"
How I deal with dreams and the like is unless I am given a clear confession of Christ I do not answer or respond (); and view it as a prophecy, and togues without interpretation and one to dicipher().
Obviously God does not condone murder! (). What does God receive by the death of one He Himself created? (). As for Isaac and Christ, the test was not whether or not they would kill for God or even die for God! Dying for someone is momentary almost a reactionary response; "lay(ing) down (one's) life," to "present your bodies as a living sacrifice," is much more difficult and meaningful. This is the likeness and image of God manifested through the example of Christ! The significance of these references then is that Isaac and Christ followed after the righteousness of God being "obedient unto death."
As far as Abraham's test, being commanded to sacrifice his son, the significance is to see that Abraham loved God enough to wager the promises and inheritance of God (which Isaac embodied because God's promises could not have been fulfilled without him) upon the obedience of God's Word; trusting in the righteousness of God even when there seems to be no way in which He can prove Himself faithful! In a way, this to is Abraham's "laying down of his life," for scripture says, "Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead.."
God does not need assassins to kill for him or even martyrs to die for him, but those that love the LORD enough to do in tribute to Him as was required for their glory and salvation (i.e. to follow His Example which is righteousness)! Otherwise we ask God to serve us in a capacity that we were unwilling to do in service to Him! In which case of what use or meaning is our accoldaes of glory, if we will not serve but suggest that He must!
