This is my first time here and I am looking forward to meeting everyone.
I am not sure if I am supposed to tell you about my beliefs here but I am going to just the same. I am in my sixties and have studied the Bible since I was a child. My mother saw to it that I learned who He was from the time I was old enough to first raise my eyes toward the heavens above and marvel at their splendor. I am very grateful for my mother' love of God and of me. I was greatly blessed to have been born of her womb, for she laid a foundation in me that strengthened me through the tough times which befall most of us in this life, helping me have what it takes to bounce back from them.
I believe that Jesus was conceived to Mary's womb by the holy spirit and that as such he was perfect in every way, untouched by the corruption of the flesh most of us begin with of Adam. I believe Acts 2:31 substantiates that, for, we who were in the loins of Adam when he sinned do not need to wait until our flesh sees the grave before the corruption of our flesh threatens to begin. We were born to death and dying. But Jesus was born to life, for which we can be grateful. Jesus willingly, out of love, gave up that life as a man that he might share it's value with us.
