Hello, my name is Amy or Sparrow, whichever you like. I stumbled upon TalkJesus last night quite by accident and decided to stay and check it out.

Brief overview of myself: I live in the Pacific Northwest. I'm currently in an intensive training program to become a sign language interpreter. I'm very excited to see where God is leading me in this job and ministry opportunity.

I'm also a freelance writer. Most of my writing has been fictional short stories (I particularly love Biblical and historical fiction), but I'm currently working on a novelette set during WWII in the woman's concentration camp of Ravensbruck.

I like your pseudonym. There was a leading barrister in the U.K. who wote his memoir's entitled 'The Flight of a Sparrow' It struck me......such a great man, and such a humble title.

The sparrow is in decline here in the U.K. Loss of habitat etc. I recall as a boy catching sparrows.....quite easily....having a cage full. I let them go free at the end of the day They visited to feed upon the corn which my father put down for the livestock.

I ramble on....His eye is on the sparrow, and I know....I know He watches me........and you....
