I am new to forum I am a backslider, who fell in to Islam for one year, yet still felt the love of God and the love of Jesus, during Ramadan I felt a nudge to turn back to the truth, it has been hard most of the people at the old church have turned to calling me Judas, and that I can never again be saved, and I have lost my salvation, but I know God never gives up on me, it was me who lost the fire because of pleasing man and forgetting the calling out of my sin, I know this is a ramble but I am here to learn again and to ask for guidance, I am a huge believer in discipleship and getting back to the word and letting the Holy Spirit lead us , I will not debate if you like me ok if not ok I worry about hurting God and falling short, thank you for letting me ramble
Gil
Welcome aboard Gil,
Glad that you're here. Out of your experience God will use this to His Glory. You listened to the Holy Spirit. You are His and know His voice.
Hosea 14:4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.
No Gil, you have not lost your salvation.
1 John 1:8-9 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
You've come to TJ which I pray will be a blessing to you in your walk with our Lord Jesus Christ. There are many brothers & sisters who will offer prayer, guidance, as the Holy Spirit allows.
Titus 3:4-5 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Those you've known whether Christian or Muslim, might and probably will be distrustful towards you. Do you blame them? Just remember we don't live for them, but for Jesus Christ who gave His life for our sins that we might live eternally. Your allegiance is not to man, but to God. Keep that in mind and no matter what may happen know that you are beloved of the Lord, a child of the Most High! Alleluia!
Once again be welcome my brother in Christ Jesus.

Read the prodigal son verses in Luke 15:11-32
Might help to put this in perspective for you, because I think you will understand it better then those who have called you Judas and instead of rejoicing at your return, they are distrustful.
