Hello All Seekers of the Lord
I'm glad to be among you and pray I'll learn lots from you all and hope I may be able to contribute something from time to time. I have browsed a bit here and there and will have to feel my way around to find out how to do things. I expect I'll get the hang of it in time.

I have read the rules and the statement of faith and would like to know if we are required to subscribe to that statement or whether it is the Moderators' expression of their faith or an affirmation of their belief and that if we do not find ourselves in agreement that's still all right and we can remain part of the group.

The statement of faith simply expresses what this board is based on, (me, moderators) and generally speaking - everyone who is here basically agrees on this truth that is in Scripture.

Thanks for your welcoming messages and your explanation of the statement of faith, Chad. You may not hear from me for a while because I will be looking around at various posts and finding out how to navigate and function. My knowledge of taking part in forums is very basic and I know nothing of chat rooms, feeds, msn and everything that isn't straight forward e-mailing so I've got a lot to learn before I'll be properly functional. I presume I will need a microphone to be able to chat online so I'll have to find out about that aspect as well.

Also, I have much to learn as far as knowing the Lord is concerned and what we need to do to please Him. Looking forward to learning and growing with you all.

Chat is done by typing to each other in a box in the chatroom and you can find this on main page where it says 'chat'. No microphones are needed.

Well, thanks for that info about chatting, Ladylove. And yes, SpiritEd, I am severely challenged with the tech things, so much so that I'm struggling with this basic stuff. No matter. As you say - best to dive in. However, I need to watch the depth. Will be in touch again after a bit of browsing and testing the water, God willing.

We do not use microphones to chat as it done by typing words like we type in here but in chat we can see each other and reply straight away.
