Good morning, my name is Suzy and I am from Nunavut. I was born and raised to be catholic but have lost my path in life for quite some time. i am slowly going back to Jesus but i need help. so many things come my way to sway me away from my saviour. I would really appreciate it if anyone can pray for me and my family. We need help in finding our path with Jesus and staying on it.

I wanted to thank each and every one of you who participate in this website. I came to contact with a medium (which is very difficult as i live in a small town of 800 Christians and everones sceptical of them) and she told me all these amazing things. She "made contact" with my deceased brother, grandmother, grandfather and claimed to come from God. after reading from this website, i read that this isnt true. she had sent me a cd with sublimital messages (which i decided not to listen to) and told me that I too, have psychic powers. i am sorry i was so interested. i need prayer over my body and soul to unleash any binding things she put on me. I regret not asking her if Jesus is Lord, as that thought kept coming. she gave me some sage and i was wondering if thats bad.
on the days to follow after my adventure with her, i was feeling very happy, very thankful to God that i am alive. i fall into depression quite regularly and i gave all of that up to God to heal. thank God!
I dont understand if mediums arent of God, how did she made my relationship with God better? closer?
i have little chats with God more often, i give him my problems to deal with and all this wasnt quite so before i met this medium.

i love God and I am looking forward to having a deep meaningful relationship with Him and I pray that i stand strong in my possion with God.

Very pleased to read that you are making your way back to Jesus. Many ways lead to Christ, but only Christ the 'door' (John 19:9) leads to God.

I would advise you to stay clear of the woman you mention, she is a servant of Satan, and like him seeks to decieve.

There is power that is opposed to God. God made this possible by allowing His creation to be twisted into wrong uses. All of the power that every human possesses, physical or otherwise, originated with God. Obviously, none of us have always used all of our power to serve God in the best way possible. If we did, there would be no sin, would there?

If you recall in Egypt when God worked wonders through Moses, some of those wonders were duplicated by the wise men, sorcerers and magicians of Egypt. The example, which perhaps best demonstrates the difference between the wonders performed by those men of Egypt and what God did through Moses and Aaron is this one:

"Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments

For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods." Exodus 7:11-12

Hi Suzy and welcome. Coming out of the world into Christ is actually Him drawing you out unto Him! Cool huh. It is sort of like a new birthing where it is filled with pain and tribulaltion and wonder at the new things, leaving behind the old things. In Christ, we have a City whose builder and maker is Jesus. Each of us together makes us stronger and taller and more glorious as we become filled together with the Holy Spririt of Christ in us, our Hope of Glory. May you be blessed forever with your head resting on Jesus' breast.

A medium definately is not from God...but God can bring something good out of evil. He did it on the cross by allowing evil men to crucify him which turned into the salvation of mankind. God can bring good out of evil...but evil is still evil...just focus on the grace of God if you want to know God better...God became a man and paid the penalty for sin so that you could be saved if you repent (change your mind about sin and agree with God) and put your trust in Jesus. Don't worry about what your medium says or what any church says, just focus on what the Bible says eph2:8 for by grace are ye saved through faith, not of works lest anyone should boast. Just look at the finished work of christ. We love him because he first loved us. And while we were yet sinners christdied for us. Ask him to let that truth penetrate your heart. Grace is the key. Elementary but essential. Focus on the grace of God first and foremost if you want to get back to God. Considering the lengths he went through surely he wants you to receive grace upon grace.

Suzy..I can assure you yore on the right track..1st John 1:9 tells us if we pray and ask God to forgive us
He is faithful and just to do so and remove us far from sin..You have hope in Jesus Christ only. All others will fail you
I pray The Lord of grace and mercy hold no good thing from you this day and that you be shown the love of God at every turn..!
its easy to get off track that's why The Lord says to try the spirits to see if they are of God......I encourage you to spend time in the bbook of Matthew and psalms. They will direct you towards the love God has for you..Child I tell you He has plans for you from before youre mothers womb and they are plans for good not evil..I'm glad you found us .May The Lord of heaven continue to leAd you in His path....Rev
