Hi everyone. My name is Kim. I am so glad I found this site. We've recently moved and I only know a few people (mostly family). I still have yet to find a Church that feels like home. I have found one that reminds me of my Church in my hometown. The only problem is that the Church is so big that it is hard to really get to know anyone.

I know how important it is for believers to surround themselves with other believers who will help withstand or fight the evils of the world that surrounds us. I have had trouble in this area for the past few years. Being a lone believer, there is no one to help you to see with the world is pressing in on you. I think that the Satan's most dangerous weapon against believers is the ho-hum everyday routine that can rob us of our Jesus Joy and leave us struggling with trying to regain the first passions of accepting our Savior into our lives.

That is my story and I hope and pray that I am able to regain my passion for Jesus here and help others to do the same.

God Bless the moderators of this site for creating a place to bring believers together. Thank You God for bringing me to this site.

Welcome, Kim. Look for a church that has a network of small groups. If you can plug into one of those small groups, you'll have a non-intimidating way to begin to make friernds.

My big Church has small groups. The small groups are pretty big though. We haven't lived here long so I am not giving up. I would actually love to find a small country type Church. I am still going to the big Church to give it a try. I know I can't tell if I fit in a Church or if a Church fits me just by going a few times. I think I may try the classes at Church to see if I can find my place. It is hard. When I first became a believer, I was accepted by my old Church right away even though it was a large Church. It also helped that I had family and friends who were already established within the Church who helped me meet people. I have family in my new Church too, but they all just started going there as well.
