Well I've been searching for a place to discuss the more important aspects of life with people. I'm tired of arguing with atheists and being chastised by anti-christian bloggers. I suppose I'll keep trying to nudge them towards the cross but for now I just need to be surrounded with those who believe in Jesus.

Welcome to Talk Jesus. It's nice to have you here. I know what you mean by getting tired of debating with atheists. You're right we should not give up on them. Jesus still saves and He'll use us to get His Word across. Keep praying for them and study that Bible.

oh yeah, I pray for them (atheists) and ask God to bless them, actually one in particular mainly.... he seems to have an international influence on some who call themselves atheist. I've been trying to help people on many a web site / discussion forum and have just gotten to the point where I almost can't take it anymore, the ..... well, the blatant disrespect for Jesus and the Bible is what it amounts to. Although I try to be sensitive to the fact that we're all being constantly bombarded with anti-christian views from all angles and haven't lost hope. I just want to talk to people who understand where I'm coming from for a change.
thank u rizen1 ! i feel very welcome. I believe that Christ's body is coming together now more than ever. years ago I asked a simple question on a forum like this and was called the devil. Everyone quickly left the site and I was left wondering why. What I asked was, why are we, the children of God so differentiated in our opinions of the "proper" interpretation of the bible? Why all the different Christian denominations? Why don't we unite and stand together in our commonalities, that Jesus Christ is Lord!? I gathered that they automatically assumed that I was encouraging the "one world religion" the one that the Bible says will be a sign of the end times. Well I still hold to that belief, that a fragmented body of Christ is of the devil, not unification. Recent years have displayed a tendancy towards unification of the Christian body and if anything is going to come from the devil, it's going to be further fragmentation. but anyways, no harm no foul!
I understand their need to be concerned about such things and I'd be willing to bet that they are all still living within the will of God. IMHO the one world religion will do everything BUT lift the name of the Lord Jesus Christ on high.
