Greetings,

I am at hospital, awaiting heart surgery, anytime.

Asking for prayers for my family and loved ones.

Please remember the Love God has shown to you and serve each other as good ministers.

Greetings to you all ↑↑↑↑

Thank you for your prayers and asking after my wellbeing.

I am home now, after surgery.
Rather weary and easily out of energy when pottering around doing a few chores.

I have regular stern 'reminders' to stop, to lay down and to rest. I am oddly obliging, mostly.
Recovering but I do not have as much 'get up and go' as I thought I might have, so I shall have to be patient, now that I have been a patient. On top of that, having had my chest shaved, is rather queer, but one awaits regrowth!

All this is, as is the Way, a wonderful opportunity to consider the different aspects of my life in the Light and the Knowledge of Him, Who never forsakes me, undeserving as I am.
Keywords, such as heart, energy (strength) , patience, regrowth (after pruning) , weary, rest, prayer and caring for one another (as you have done for me, as have others) help delight my soul and refresh me as I go, remembering also that we have this time in this tent, are renewed every morning and can rejoice in the hope set before us as we wait upon the Lord.

Having Jesus is such a blessing that nothing compares to.

May you all have and know the Love of God in Christ Jesus and continue to love one another as He has loved you.

A follow up appointment with the surgeon revealed another problem.
Another procedure in a few days.
Might present to hospital tomorrow as I think the meds may be part of the problem.

Wait on the LORD

Another surgery?
 
Greetings Brad,

Surgeon says atrial flutter is now present on the upper right chamber of my heart.
I am also near falling over when standing up at normal speed. Not too bad if I go slowly.
Surgeon wants a cardio version but I'm not sold on that being the solution. Hence why I may present myself to hospital tomorrow.

Not completely out of the woods.

I have had a further two emergency procedures done to try to keep this old tent from ripping totally. It's fraying enough in other areas!

However, it has been, and is, a time for looking to the Lord and at times also a sober look at the fragility of life and how we (I ) spend it.

I had open heart surgery 3 years ago so I can feel your situation.

Remember the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is the same Spirit that is giving life to your mortal body.

God uses the miracle of modern medical science to heal people.
