Having a hard time doing devotions

I would like some help please.
I am having a hard time finding a way to do daily devtions. I am not sure why but every way I have tryed has been kind of boring. I have tryed to use a devotional book but I am not that interested in it. I do just read the Bible book after book but I have this felling that it just might not wrok. If anyone has any advice or help please I am asking for help and am willing to try anything really I just need some help from you please and thanks you.
 
Are you basically saying you cannot get into the devotionals you read? What devotional books / author are you reading or have read? Just curious. I have many awesome devotional books, some small ones (pocket) and others more filling and lengthier. I love them all.

I have posted one for teens in the teens forum. It looks long but take a little at a time and see how you like it.

I pray that you will ask God to help you to bring the Bible alive and the Holy Spirit will help you understand what you read to make it exciting as the Bible is God's love letter to us.

I have one that does not interest me so much it is a one year devotion for youth by Josh McDowell. Than I have an other one there is not general athour just a few authours put this one together and it is a songs 4 worship one it's title is ' Change my Heart oh God ' I like the second one but I am done that one soon so I will need a new one soon.
 
Dear Sister,

I am glad that you are seeking advice on this issue. Everyone has their own way in worshiping God, something we try to do it the way that we think is "right". But there is no right way in doing devotionals.

May you could try drawing, and playing worship music in the background. Start it with a prayer, read a scripture, and then draw. You could even write a story. Sometimes, I do research.

I pray that God will give you a passion to do devotionals!
