Have You Eaten Today

Have you eaten today? I am talking about spiritually. You are fed spiritually by washing your mind daily and regularly with the Word of God. Thanksgiving is known as a time you gorge on natural food. Have you gorged on spiritual food? The weapons of our warfare are not carnal and neither are our battles. There are two kingdoms in this world. There is the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of satan. You belong either to one or the other. There is no kingdom of self as some think. They are merely pawns in satan’s game of destruction unless you are clearly following God.
First of all, read (Rom 12:2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. As it says in (Pro 23:7) For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he... or you could say as a man allow thoughts to continue in his mind, so is he. The devil may try to fight you, but you don’t have to allow it. You have authority over him. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Your faith level will grow by your feeding on the Word of God continually.

We walk in the flesh, but we are no longer of the flesh. We must merely choose to follow God. We seek Him. We cherish Him. We cherish His Word. We follow His Word so closely that we are no longer in the flesh but in the spirit of God. (2Co 10:3) For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (2Co 10:4) (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) (2Co 10:5) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

The very first “golden footprints” the Lord ever spoke to me was found in (1Co 14:1) Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. Therefore it is only natural that I have this drive to follow Christ and to be used by Him. He wants to give you that drive and joy if you will receive it. The Holy Ghost can use you to speak when you are bathed in His Word daily. (1Co 2:13) Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

It is the feeding on the Word of God that will cleanse us spiritually to hear what God has to say. You cannot live as a carnal Christian and still expect to hear from God. He is talking about your minds which is the seat of your emotions. (Eph 5:26) That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Read these two scriptures. You cannot be obedient to this word without meditating in His Word continually. It is then God will give you revelation and faith to do what needs to be done. (Jos 1:7) Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. (Jos 1:8) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

You must avoid satan’s ways and delight yourself in His word (God’s Word). (Psa 1:1) Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.(Psa 1:2) But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. (Psa 1:3) And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

To be naturally minded is not to be spiritually minded. (1Co 2:14) But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
