And what two Commandments is that?
I was sure you'd lead with this:Those which make up the Law of Christ, which John details here:
1 John 3:23-24*
And this is His commandments of the New Covenant, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and that we love one another, according as He has given us commandment to do; those who continually obey His commandments remain abiding in Him, and He will remain abiding in him; by this we know that He remains abiding in us, by reason of the Spirit of which He has given to us.
In Romans 13:8-10, Paul gives detail on one of them..."love one another."
Blessings
If Jesus didn't come and die or become a sin offering for mankind,
That's why Paul says in Hebrew 10:
So your God came as Jesus ... and then had second thoughts ??!!But when Jesus became (he was God in the beginning) man and died for the sins of the world, ...
So I thank God the more and more, because three times Jesus prayed to the Father in Matthew 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
I was sure you'd lead with this:
And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
I find a better reference for "gifted by God" here -
With all due respect, I have read the context... and just what are scribes if they are not the ones copying scripture?
If scribes copy scripture, then indeed how could this verse not pertain to scripture? I note you say "all" Scripture, but Jeremiah certainly spoke of the law... so ...
"Telling" ??
Again, scribes write. They produced the scrolls known as scripture.

Just wondering if you could post the scripture verses where Jesus taught this. (I'm pretty sure I have a good idea, but was looking to understand your perspective.) And I'm thinking "goal" might be a better word than "essence."Having God (Jesus) in you is the essence of the Gospel!
Thank God it's not predicated upon precise spelling...Knowing something is not predicated on a
" percise" scripture,
(Not a seemly thing for a minister of the Gospel to say. Yes?)It appears to me, YOU ARE NOT CHRISTIAN!

Now we're OP shaming ??What does that have to do with being Baptised?
Since we've now been OP shamed, I shall need to leave my reply at this (though we could discuss it elsewhere):If God meant that all of Scripture had been corrupted by the Scribes,
Given this:He/she has said many things that demonstrates according to Scripture that IF he is a "minister," he called himself to that position. God certainly did not...
The Lord has spoken! We are to baptize, and be baptized in the name of Jesus. There are no exceptions!
You only belittle yourself in your lack of understanding God and Jesus; much less the Bible!!
Having God (Jesus) in you is the essence of the Gospel!
All true Christians are marked by having Jesus (Holy Spirit) in them.
Hog-wash , right?!
Knowing something is not predicated on a
" percise" scripture, rather than understanding the entire Gospel, comprised of many scriptures through-out the Bible that support a truth.
https://biblia.com/bible/nlt/Matt 5.48When God looks into a Chritian's heart (Soul) He wants to see Jesus's Holiness, Righteousness and ,yes, Perfection...anything that YOU think you may have to offer is as "Filthy Rags" to Him.
2 Cor 13-5
Matthew 5:48
It appears to me, YOU ARE NOT CHRISTIAN!
Given this:
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.(Acts 1:8 KJV)
We are all ministers of the Gospel. (To some extent, no?)
Thanks,

Yes God gave us His Son, so He could get I inside every BELIEVER .Um...no...but you evidently don't understand Scripture when you make such off-key accusations like that. Good going, now we know where you are coming from.
No...the essence of the gospel is John 3:16 and all that it insinuates...but I see that you don't understand simple things in Scripture, so...
Yes, indeed...and evidently you don't understand such passages as Acts 5:32, where we are told that the Holy Spirit only remains abiding in those who are walking in obedience to God. Is that why He seems to be absent from your words, I wonder?
I wonder if you understand that you have already demonstrated this of yourself?
https://biblia.com/bible/nlt/Matt 5.48
Well...let's see if you know what you are talking about here (so far you are batting a ZERO)...
Cor. 13:5*
Test what you believe against the Scriptures, to ascertain whether or not you are still in the Faith; fully examine yourself in honesty; or do you not know that Jesus Christ is indeed dwelling within you - unless you have been rejected?
It appears that you have been rejected...
Matthew 5:48
You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Ah...yes...the prime verse people who can't understand Scripture turn to in the "perfection" argument. People who can't...how did you put it..." rather than understanding the entire Gospel, comprised of many scriptures through-out the Bible that support a truth." When we apply a complete Biblical hermeneutic to our study of any topic, like God expects us to, we come to see in context that the word "perfect" here speaks of loving on people perfectly, meaning that we help those who are in need. It does not intend or speak to a "perfect" life, because no person on earth can live a perfect life, because in that respect it speaks of sinlessness. In deed, you don't know what you are talking about.
You also seem to "predicate" yourself in false calvinistic doctrine, because the "filthy rags" scenario continually flows from those false doctrines. Again, when we take the passage in question through a complete Biblical hermeneutic in study, Isaiah is NOT saying that nothing you do is good or good enough, he is comparing God's righteousness with yours...which can NEVER come close to His. In this simple understanding you have also failed.
Taking everything that I have read from you so far, you are trying to call a kettle black. Not only that, but you demonstrate that you are no more a God-called minister than I am a tennis shoe. That is to be expected, however...the self-made minister these days far out number those who are actually called, equipped, gifted, and anointed by God into His ministry. I fear that you will pay for many things on the last day...but the worst part of it is that you will continue to writhe under the false notions in your bias and may never truly come back to God, laboring under those delusions to the end.
I will pray for you.
Your talking about Water Baptism, the Thief would have been Baptised by Jesus the Holy Spirit!I do not remember reading the "thief" on the cross to have been baptized before his death.
I find a better reference for "gifted by God" here -
He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.(Matthew 16:15-18 KJV)
But... just curious as to what specifically happened on that day to which you attribute being "infilled" with the Holy Spirit.
there is a huge difference between a God-called, gifted, equipped, and anointed minister of the gospel and ....
