Good morning Folks;
As I write this, King Agrippa's response to Paul comes to mind as I tend to be like the central character in the play/movie, "Rebel Without A Cause". Still, there is a yearning; I guess when people pray there is always hope. Isn't that what prayer is about?
I presently don't attend a church although I live within four blocks of two. I have spent several years participating on the unmoderated Pentecostal newsgroup, which was ruled by Oneness Pentecostals. For the record, I'm not Oneness. Conversations in the group covered many topics, but it seems those who were truly serious about Christ were never taken seriously.
After having spent many hours observing and participating in discussions on said newsgroup which included Islamic participants and newsgroups, one either has a Godly love for their neighbours or they do not. I'm not much of one for picking favourite verses, but Philippians 4:8 often comes to mind. Pride and humility are wonderful things, but then tend to be polar opposite in practice.
