Greatest Commandments! Enemies!

To all,

Grace and peace to you all in the Holy Precious Name of Jesus Christ who lives and reigns among us. The Holy Son of GOD who died for our sins and sacrificed for us to live on. AMEN!!

Please pray first before you answer or read any question here, so that the mind, body, and spirit is focused on Christ and what He wants out of our lives. May we answer in the way HE would want in all things.

My question to you all is after you read these verses.:

Mark 12:28-31
And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Do all of your try to do this daily? and if so how? How do you do it on this site and in your conversations with others?


MATTHEW 5:43-48
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

How do believers here show this love that Christ is mentioning to people they meet that are their enemies, people who are unbelievers and reject them harshly??

Confusion and debate has always occurred over the issue of "law and Grace".

What is the place of the Mosaic law in the New Covenant believer’s life?

Because of man’s natural bent toward either legalism or license, the
place and function of the Law has been an issue in the Christian community
since the very early days of the church.

There have been numerous attempts to put Christians under the Law or make
the Law necessary for both salvation and sanctification. When one reads the
New Testament the debate over law and Grace becomes obvious.

Large sections of the New Testament are written directly to this issue;

i) Read Acts 15 and the council at Jerusalem;
ii) Romans 5:10; 6:14; 7:1;2
iii) Cor. 3:6-18
iv) The entire book of Galatians.

These passages were written against a legalistic use of the Law!

Christ is the fulfillment of the law for us!

We live the Christian life by the power and personal leading of the Holy Spirit!
This is the most tragic aspect of this debate. A total misunderstanding
of the power of the Holy Spirit to produce love and discipline.

Mosaic law was given to Israel never to the Gentiles.

This debate concerning law and Grace will end only
when Christ returns.

Read the following;

2 Timothy 1

7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-
discipline.

8 So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather,

join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.

9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but

because of his own purpose and grace.

We do not try to do anything???

The Holy Spirit supplies and provides the love
necessary, this love is divine, it is a gift. It is not
sourced from our obedience to the law, it is a gift.
So is faith and sanctification, even life itself is a
gift. All is from Jesus, this is the Gospel.

GOD has me very strong in my faith, and has me very aware of how He can use anything on this earth to give a message, as stated in this passage:
1 CORINTHIANS 1:25-31:,
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.For consider your calling, brethren, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble;but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, so that no man may boast before God.
But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,so that, just as it is written, “ Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.”


So, my brother all answers are inspiring to me. So, I ask for this reason, not for a debate or a testing; for an inspiration to push faith in all of us. I can only pray that others in this time of their faith receive it this way as well; or one day GOD allows them to receive it this way. It's all up to Him.

So, everyone's approach is different, as we all have different talents and gifts given to us by GOD, and we know that GOD ultimately takes care of everything. Yet we are supposed to love one another and hold ourselves in no regard above others:

For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.

This long email was for you and others that see me post and for them to know where GOD has me in faith ( at the moment). GOD has me do this, so that they do not see words that I may use, take their meaning and defintions in the use of prior conversations that they have had with others, and think I am saying the same thing.

Definitely, in life, it's a difficult thing to do, but it's possible to speak to each person, by praying first. Then, erasing things we may be thinking in a conversation that is similar to one's we might have had with others on the same topic. Then enjoying the conversation for what it is. This we must do, because not everyone has the same intention in a topic/conversation, and we can offend people by thinking they do. And we do not want to offend people seeking and asking questions in the faith; especially those seeking and trying to inspire.


But, again, it's great to see what GOD has given you and has allowed you to see in your faith so far that you have showed here.. Of course until we die, HE will open us up more and more in our faith. HE's great like that.

Definitely stay strong, confident, and keep searching the scriptures as HE has you do my brother!!

To try to do these things in and of ourselves is impossible. For those who believe, God has made the impossible, possible. If we try without first receiving the power promised in Acts 1:8, we will most certainly fail.

Have I ever failed? Yes! I have failed because I have looked in the wrong place. I have failed because I have listened to and obeyed the wrong voice. So how do we stop ourselves from failing? We ask for help. The help is there. The power is there.

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" Matt 7:7

Well, the word "try" is better to say " show".
Better to say this, because the word " try" seems to be throwing you two off a bit.
My apologies for our miscommunication.


As Paul ran the race after meeting JESUS and was changed from Saul to Paul. He began Preaching every where he was sent in various situations. Showing people the strength and courage of faith through speaking in churches, synagagues, etc....
Moses kept being sent back to Pharoah with the same message ( and we remember that in the beginning Moses wanted Aaron to speak, not him). GOD did this to show Moses that He was with him. Then showed us alot more.
David feed the sheep and came when GOD called and did his mission ( though he was disobedient in lust).

What was meant by " try" is give an edifying way a person is showing the love of Christ in their life.
The mission being tried.
In the 2nd question the word " show " is used, not " try".

Again, this question is to a believer.
If the person is not a believer in GOD, through JESUS CHRIST, knowing JESUS CHRIST is the son of GOD, and word of GOD made flesh.
Then, that person does not have to answer.
But, as I stated in an earlier post, it's their choice.

Yet, I still appreciate the answer.
Everything GOD does, but the question is showing us what HE is doing through us to edify others.

Similar to the other poster? Perhaps, but who am I to notice? He was from Australia while I am from Oklahoma, USA. Of course, God is everywhere, isn’t He?


While we may try in and of ourselves, when we do we shall surely fail to the extent that God is not in accord with our feeble efforts.When we, on the other hand, are showing what is in us of God, we will never fail.

Yes, there was a change in Paul toward the Way of God from the ways of Saul. He had the boldness of the Holy Ghost.

Yet, even after being changed Paul did still have the old ways pressing him to do things in those old ways. For example he prayed three times for the thorn to be removed before receiving a definite answer. Paul also had trouble with Barnabas another man of God. Which of the two was correct? Or were both of them wrong? Yet both of them had definitely been previously led bythe Holy Ghost!

Moses sometimes tried to help God, as do people today try to help God. God doesn’t need our help. He uses us at the time He decides, when, and if, we have surrendered ourselves to Him and then, as you indicate, Hes hows Himself through the boldness of our activities.

As far as your answer, it seems you are not understanding right now, because there's no place I talked about or asked about anyone helping GOD.
It was about inspiring each other.

Interesting to hear those who claim that they are no longer under the law of truth, but the LORD our God is one LORD is not the First Commandment.

As written in John 8:47, he that is of God hears Gods words: And once the Spirit of Truth reveals unto you the First Commandment, He will teach you the other nine.

that love is not from a human source. Love
has its origin in the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5

13 For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an

opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

14 For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

15 But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one

another.

16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

17 For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these

are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.

You still do not understand.
We are all at different point of understanding.
It is what it is.
GOD brings the increase!

1 CORINTHIANS 3:5-9
Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

But, great passage OF COURSE!!!
ALWAYS LOVE THE WORD!! ALWAYS!! THE BOOK OF LIFE!!
GOD just gave me the strength to finish the whole bible after 3 years with notes on sins, prophecies, and more.....I'm overjoyed ( just finished yesterday).
Read the bible before was I was young, but so much different now.
So much more peace, patience, love, and understanding for others in all things now.
Just a waiting patiently for Him.
And a strength in prayer and fasting through faith that easily thwarts off the " other one"; while standing back and letting JESUS handle him. AMEN!!
