Great message

Hello everybody, I greet u in the name of Jesus

A pastor visisted our church today and taught about THE POWER OF HABIT. He gave us some scriptures to read from;

Luke 4:16

John 8:31

Joshua 1:8

And he said something that has changed my life. He said nobody can go beyond his daily habits and that a man's destiny is determined by his daily habits meaning that what we do now determines who we'll be tomorrow and only godly habits can change that.

I was also wondering why some people listen to great messages at church but forget hte message so quickly but remembered Luke 8 where Jesus explained the parable of the sower. I realize that the people who are touched by these Great messages are like the seeds that fell on thorns, germinated but were chocked by the thorns. So they gladly receive the message, move in the Power of it but forget it because the Devil steals it away from them.
