What you are about to read may provokes something in you, which in one way, if you read/received it with open heart, it may make you become a Radical Disciple or if you are presumptuous and you Assumed that you understand, it may either harden your heart or cause you to stop reading this tread.
For, not many will love to hear this even at the first time of writing this, when the Lord was teaching me, it sounds to me as a hard gospel but later I realize that easy gospel makes ''Christians'' but Hard gospel makes ''Disciples''. I trust that as I post it here in a raw format, God will breath on it and give Life to as many that will read through it and as many that are looking for head knowledge may they never comprehend all that will be shared here until they turn to the Lord with sincerity of hear to learn of Him. Amen

So, this thread is not like the previous one (Salvation in three dimensions: What does it means?)which was/ is basically for praying and teachings on the Fundamental/ Elementary principles of gospel of Christ (Hebrew 6:1), but this thread goes beyond that and it has to do with everything concerning the Faith that was once delivered to the saints.(Jude 3b)

Everyone is welcome to share their understanding, teachings and life the Lord has brought them through. Please, this is not an avenue to share denominational doctrines and dogmas, things you have not experienced, and also, this is not a place for arguments, whatever point you have, you have to defend it not only by quoting/explaining the scriptures but, by what YOU'VE EXPERIENCED/ STILL EXPERIENCE.

May the Lord lead us into all truth, and may the Truth who is Jesus Christ gives us life and understanding in all things in Jesus name. Amen

After Salvation What Next?

I have a question which I will like to ask everyone before we proceed in this thread. I don't know the best way to ask this question but I will just ask the question as I felt it. I will appreciate everyone's answer to this question.
Here is my first question:

When someone gives his or her life to Christ may be through us, on one on one evangelism or through ''mass'' evangelism, what is the next thing we (believers) supposed to do to such people?.

For some years, I've been in a religious organization which i believed then that, that was all God want us to be after we come to Him.
My understanding were: When one gave or gives his life to Christ, the next step such a person should take is to start attending ''Church'' and grow in knowledge of the Scriptures. Such a person MUST endeavour to attends ''Church" programs regularly, pay his/her tithes, become a worker in the church, always do things that are good and have a good moral living, Pray and read his/her bible early in the morning and also in the day time.
Then, as you are doing that, you should always be watchful because Trumpet may or can Sound anytime.

Those and many more were basically my understanding after I became born again, But along the way, when I started to hear the Lord and desired to follow Him, Somethings began to played out in the Fellowship or Church I was attending, I was taught to believed in a ''thing'' not in a ''Person'' and I found out that some many things I believed in were totally wrong base on their concepts.

Everything I believed in were not only the doctrines of the Church I was attending but, they are general doctrines in the various Denominations and religions Circles.
One day, I began to asked the Lord various questions that were even beyond my understanding and knowledge though, the Lord responded to my my questions but they were beyond my comprehension. One of the answers I got was this:

The parable of of the two Daughters that were begat by the same mother:
Ezekiel 23:1-49, Aholah ( Samaria) and Aholibah (Jerusalem)
. This was the beginning of my understanding of the ''CHURCH HISTORY''. Although, many books and authors wrote on the Church History, may be I will say, I wasn't privilege to read them. But I was(am) glad when the Lord began to take me through to those events of the past-- The Beginning of Dark Age and the Realm of Religion.

Later, I got to understand why those denominations have the same Doctrines, creeds, confirmation Classes, Baptismal Classes, Sunday School, Theological Schools, Festivals; Xmas, Good Fridays, Good Sundays, Esther and many more.

What was my understanding? They were all begat by the same MOTHER and no matter how they run as long as they hold on to a level of religion(things they have learned from their Backslid-en mother), the Spirit that caught up with their Mother will always caught up with them
.

What were the names of those Spirit? Simply put, Assyrian (Egypt is always related to Assyrians) and Babylonia Spirits.

Think of many things that are been done in Catholic today and look around If you will not see the same things in other DENOMINATIONS: Charismatic Church( in which Catholic belongs), Orthodox Church and Pentecostal Church.

Someone may says, why all these? I just want to point out those things for the basis of what I'm about share in this thread. I'm not here to discuss about the good side of the things some of us has enjoyed and dare not raised alarm on but, I'm here to declare loud and clear that, not only that the system is wrong but our concepts of THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM IS ALSO TOTALLY WRONG.

Once people believed in another gospel that resemble the True gospel then, what they will produced is nothing than what they believed in. Some christian are some much believed in their Denomination than in Christ, While some believed and holds on to their Church Doctrine than any things else even in the face of present Truth. This is why some of them may even try to kill you (if not Physically, but Emotionally, Spiritually or Psychologically), If you dare say something is wrong with their doctrines or with their ''Church''.

Why are they doing that? Man is always active in defending what they built but what God is building, man are always against. Why? Because it will always contradict their systems.

Whether the end will come or not, What will determined it is this: THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM.

And this Gospel of this Kingdom shall be Preached in ALL the WORLD for a witness unto all Nations; and then shall the END come. Matthew 24:14

Most of the things written in the Scriptures are fulfilling in our eyes and in our days but, it look like the World will just keep on rolling on the same circle till eternity. The arrival of Christ for His True bride seems delayed, why? Because Christians of nowadays has not yet preached the Gospel of the Kingdom, not because some of them don't want to preached it but majorly, Many of them don't HAVE IT and some that have it dare not raise up their voice because, they love the praise of men than God's praise. All what they have is the Gospel of their Denominations and Empires.

So, the Bride has not make herself ready, the World is yet to hear the True Gospel of the Kingdom and without this, No arrival of Christ and the End will not come.

Now, back to our question: What is the Gospel of the Kingdom? Because this is where the whole issues lies.

The question is now before you once again.

WHAT IS THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM MY DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS?

I don't know about the "Gospel of The Kingdom ". I know about the gospel that saves and this is the gospel that St. Paul said he preached.
The gosel that St. Paul said that He preached was the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Death
Jesus died for the sins of the world, which provides complete forgiveness for everyone. This is the finished work of the cross.
Burial
Proves death and consummates the using of Jesus will.
Resurrection
Completes the gift of God's grace that saves. By asking for and recieving Jesus Christ's resuurected life in yo , you are Born Again and
saved.
If the "Gospel of the Kingdom" is the same as the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, wonderful but, if it is not, I am, respectfully, not interested. And I will algree with you on this, when it comes to all the different (man made) denominations and doctrines in the world, man has got a lot of it wrong and should just stick with the simple truths of the Bible!

For many years; how I wish there was no religions, no dark hours which the Church experienced or went through. Maybe, what we have today may not have been there, maybe where we are today, we may have grow beyond that but Lo and behold, it has happened and there is nothing any man can do to revert it but, the little you and I can trust the Lord to do through us is to CONTEND for the Gospel( the Faith) that was once deliver to the Saints,

But How will you contend for what you don't Know? or How will you contend for the Gospel of the Kingdom, when you don't understand what the Kingdom of God is? How will understand the Kingdom without first understanding the King of that Kingdom? How then will you understand the King when all you understand is all about your doctrinal beliefs and your denominations? This is a state of Dilemma.

Yes you are right my friend.
But are we just saved and believed in those thing that Christ did on our behalf and just sit down, do our own things, established our own empires and seek not for the Kingdom of God? or are we saved for His own eternal purpose?

Before I go on in sharing about the Gospel of the Kingdom and gives answer to the first question I asked which was ''When someone gives his or her life to Christ may be through us, on one on one evangelism or through ''mass'' evangelism, what is the next thing we (believers) supposed to do to such people?''.

I believed it will be very wise to understand what the Kingdom of God is. For there will be no Gospel of the Kingdom if there is no Kingdom.
I believed what I'm about to post here are not just for everybody rather are for those who are born-again
The beginning of the gospel of Christ after the wilderness experience started with

Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand
(Matthew 4:17b)

What followed that was the calling of the Disciples;

And he said unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men (Matthew 4 v19)

You will all agree with me that Christ is the King of that Kingdom. When He started to preached about the Kingdom, He definitely understood what He was preaching.
In the same way, we also must understand what the Kingdom of God is before we can really talk about the gospel of the Kingdom

So, What is the Kingdom of God?

WHAT IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD?

This is one in a million question everyone that profess him/herself to be Christian ought to answer and without proper understanding of this, one cannot vividly understand the rest of what God may be saying concerning His Kingdom.

Many books and pamphlet has been written on this subject but few has really tackle the understanding the Lord is demanding us to get and walk in.

In Matthew chapter 6:33 Jesus said;

‘’But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness: and all these things shall be added unto you’’

If you and I were commanded to seek first the Kingdom of God, wouldn’t it be proper for us to ask What the Kingdom of God is? But the mistake and error we often makes, is that we normally assumed that we understood/understand what the Lord was saying not only in that verse of the scripture but also in many area of our life. So, in turn, we have problem because of our lack of understanding and ignorance most especially that generated from our pride.

What God demand often from us is our ability to ask Him question where we don’t understand what He is saying to us. John 16:16-19 is an example of who we are;

16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

17 Then said some of his disciple among themselves, what is this that he said unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while ye shall see me: and because I go to the Father?

18 They said therefore, what is this that he saith, a little while? We can no tell what he saith.

19 Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him. And said unto them, do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, a little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?

From the passage above we can see that, the disciples were so desirous to ask the Lord question but they were shifting their question to one another and not to the Lord. This exactly what many of us do, instead of asking the Lord for understanding of what He is saying, we shift the focus from Him and focus on things. Are you also so desirous to ask the Lord questions? Ask and He shall give you the right answer than any teacher can teach you.

The best you can get can only be from the Lord and not from any man. You have to ask Him those questions you have in your heart so that He can give you a proper understanding. If you will sincerely ask Him I’m pretty sure that He will provide you with a definite answer.

Now, I believe we all know that there will be no Kingdom without a King neither will any King existed without having a Kingdom to rule over. So is the case of what the Lord is saying here.

You are to seek the King of that Kingdom before you can properly seek the Kingdom
. In other word, Jesus is simply saying to you and I that, what we need to seek first is Him not ‘’things, methods, or ways’’.

I believed the Kingdom of God is a Place where King Jesus has all Preeminence and Rulership.

I will live that definition like that for now without breaking it down

So, seeking the kingdom of God first start with ability to seek and Know the King- Personality- Christ that reigns there on a Personal Experience and then, understand His dominion-ship’’.
UNDERSTANDING THE PERSON OF CHRIST

Like I said before that, you cannot seek or understand the Kingdom of God without first Knowing the King that rule there. If you are willing and desiring to understand and enter into that Kingdom then there is a need for you to know the King of that Kingdom experiential. This is not by theory or confession but, it must become life to you or else you may not understand the Kingdom of God.

Some Christian believed in one Christ or another, to some Christ is a ''thing'' while to some is a ''Person'' that sit up there in heaven and only come to the scene of their life when they have needs or experiencing difficulties and problems. If this describes who you are then you cannot understand His Kingdom. This is why it is of no use having spent most of your time following what you don’t know neither were you willing to make an effort in knowing Him. People of nowadays has replace Christ with their religion organization, activities has taken the place of Holy-Spirit and following and hearing God has been replaced with all kind of theology and doctrines.

If God were to ask NOW that, who is Christ to you, what will be your sincere answer? This is one of the questions we must answer for ourselves, no man can teach us that, no matter the level of anointing such a person may have. Knowing Christ is by revelation and this revelation comes as a result of continuous intimate relationship with Him.

So, in your seeking of the Kingdom, what you need to see and have a thorough relationship with is Christ Himself. In fact, you must seek Him diligently and with all your heart before you can find Him. Here is the truth saying of our Lord that ‘’If you will seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you’’.

There is a condition in seeing and knowing Christ, and that condition is tied to seeking Him with all your heart. It is in the place of seeking that you find what you are looking for. Matthew 7:7-8

7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you

8 For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

A Believer must develop ability of not just taking anything without first asking the Lord. All that revolved around knowing Christ start with ASKING (ASK), but that asking does not always come to our senses until we are frustrated by situations and circumstances that surrounds us. Like a brother rightly said: “IT IS A WISDOM TO ASK”. This, I also believed that even our Lord before making anyone whole, He normally asked ” WILL THOU BE MAKE WHOLE?”.
But how often do we forget His example and cling to assumption of the things we don’t understand!!

Having said that, for you and I to understand who Christ is, we must join brother Paul is asking the Lord “WHO ART THOU, LORD?”(Acts of Apostle 9:5). This is where it all begins in knowing Christ. We must be a people who don’t just swallow things but who also ask questions where it needed. Assumption is deadly disease that kills someone gradually and if we must live above it then, there is a need to inculcate that habit of A.S.K.

Asking is a commandment, when the Lord said we should seek first His Kingdom. The first thing to do is to ask Him ''Lord what is Your Kingdom that I must seek?''. After you might have received answer in that area, then you embark on the second journey which is SEEKING.

Now, if you come to place where you felt you have seen and understand the Kingdom you are seeking then there is need for you to KNOCK before you enter.

I believe this should be a continuous knocking, which is while Christ said that you must keep knocking because it is your persistence in knocking that will convince the owner of the kingdom that you are really ready for what you are looking for.

Take for example, the blind man that was in Jericho when Christ was passing by, his determination and persistence caught the attention of Christ. Not that the Lord didn’t hear him when he was calling on Him but, just to know how desperate this man was. It takes those who are serious and desperate to seek the Kingdom and find it.

Jesus said: The Kingdom of God suffers violence and it is only the violence that can take it by force. Violence here doesn’t imply Fleshy violence neither does it mean taking the Kingdom by your own strength in fact, the arm of flesh profited nothing in the things of God. Once it involves your strength, the Kingdom of God cannot be found by you.

So there is a need to know the King Jesus that rules the Kingdom, it is by knowing Him that we can really understand His Kingdom. And this knowing Him start by ‘’ASKING, SEEKING AND KNOCKING’’. These are the keys to understand the Person of Christ and also the keys to understanding His Kingdom.

If you have not been asking before, now it’s time to begin to ask. ‘’For whosoever asketh receiveth.’’

It is during and after these experience that you can really speaks of the GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM.

I just need to post these as a platform for what I'm about to post here, If God will permit me, I will post the full message on ''Understanding The Kingdom of God''.

The Beginning..

''When someone gives his or her life to Christ may be through us, on one on one evangelism or through ''mass'' evangelism, what is the next thing we (believers) supposed to do to such people?''.

When someone gives his or her life to Christ, what is the next thing we supposed to do?

I believed the next thing to do to such a person is not to introduce him to anything than Christ. We must endeavor to let such a person find his feet in Christ. Though this may look like a hard gospel but in reality that is the truth.
The first thing we should do for a new convert, is to introduce him/her more to The Lord, in fact, joining a fellowship should be withdrawn if possible. So that his faith, will based on the Lord not on the fellowship he’s attending.

That’s why, Jesus did not introduced His Church and His Kingdom to the apostles immediately when they followed Him but, all he did was to show to them who He was and by the time he started to introduced the Church and the Kingdom to them, they have developed such a relationship that no matter what comes out of it they will be standing strong in Him.

Although, they did fell but, they knew that there was no other place they could go. But do we do that today?
Nay, immediately one gives his life to the Lord, we quickly add them to our fellowship either in ignorance or to increase our members. And not long enough they see something in us that discouraged their faith and next thing they do was to turn their back on the Lord and start working in religion.

Oh! How many soul have we pushed into religion in the name of helping them.

Oh! How many have seen our rebellion and also felt that is the way to serve the Lord since we that are leading them are doing it they too has joined the train of our rebellion.

I wonder why bro Philip did not introduced the eunuch to their fellowship after he preached to him, and why the bible didn't record the fellowship the eunuch joined after he was saved.

So, we see now that, the problem is not with the Lord's work but with us that's trying to help Him with our SELF.
Here is the gospel of the Kingdom: the Apostle spent 3 and half years in Intimacy Relationship with the Lord before they had the revelations of the Church which they became and the revelation of the Kingdom of God, so also must we spent much time with Him so that He can first birth Himself into us then show us His church and His Kingdom. if not, may God help us.

Often, even, many times, our concept of the Church is totally wrong because our concept of Christ is partially or totally wrong, some believed the Church is a building while some that had little understanding believed the church is not the building but those that are saved. But is that really the Church? Well, thank God for the understanding of the latter that believed that the Church is not the building but the saved one, but it goes beyond that, those who are saved are not yet the Church!! The Church is made up of Disciples, the Called out one who have forsaken all and ready to be offer to the Lord.
So, in today, we have: multitude, followers, Christians and the disciples. The commandment of the Lord to the disciple was go into all nations and make them disciple just liked He had made them. When you give your life to the Lord, may I say to you that you are not yet his disciple, why? Because, disciple are built over-time.
And until you are His disciple you cannot be part of His bride, for it takes disciples to bear fruits.

The first stage you start from is; you are a follower of Christ. That was exact thing the Lord told Peter and other, "follow me".

So let’s start from the basis of what it takes to be a disciple. Because, this where we come to understand what the gospel of the Kingdom is all about and don’t forget, until this gospel of the kingdom is preached to all nations the end will not come.

THE MULTITUDE

John 6:26-27
Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.
Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Now, everyone that are and will ever comes to Christ, started from being either pagan or multitude, multitude in the sense that they came from a religious background(the Jews) and pagan in the sense that they don’t have such(the Gentiles). When bible recorded that mixed multitude followed Christ, what that means was that those who followed him were mixture of Jew and gentile.

If someone comes from a religious background doing what he/she has been taught in their religious organization but without personal encounter with the Lord such people are just multitudes following God at their own convenience and what they were told.

Multitudes are not interested in what God needs but, all what they are after is their daily bread and healing in their body. If those ones are met, then they turn back to their old ways of doing things.
That is why, after Jesus has fed them he has to send them away, because those were not the kind people his was looking for (Matthew 13:36,14:23)

If any man has not met Christ personally, and has not had a genuine encounter with the Lord; though such a person may be in a fellowship or organized religion for years, but as far as the Lord is concerned, he/she is part of multitude that needs to be sent back .

But do you know my fear? Such people are the people we call our brethren, and because of what we can get from them, we hesitate in sending them back. How contradictory does this sound to what our Lord did to the rich man!(Luke 18:18-25).
There is always a price to pay before one can become a follower of Christ and the price start from making up your heart, forsaking all that you are and following Christ.

If the Kingdom’s gospel has to be preach to you. The first thing you have to be told is this: Have you counted the cost? You said you want to follow Jesus but He also required you to count the cost, He is not promising you blessing, power, wealth or healing but, first total death then all these will He add to you as you follow Him, and in following Him or saying yes to Him, you may lose all that you’ve ever labor for before you come to Him.
Yes, He love you no doubt about that but, He does not want you to start this journey without the aim of ending it. As you say yes to Him, he will introduce His cross for you to carry and bid you to follow Him.

Mark 10:28-30

28 Then Peter began to say unto him, lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.

29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

That was the first message that will be presented to you after you have heard about the love of Christ to you; so that you may get an insight into what you will likely encounter in your journey as you say yes to the Lord.

But who dare preach this to you? If anyone preached this to you on the day you gave your life to the Lord, such person is not after your pocket but he is after what the Lord is after in you.

Was and is God against multitudes? No, He loves all men but He want them to come to the Knowledge of salvation. You and I started from that Place, we were part of the multitudes before the grace and mercy of God found us out.

All I'm just trying to paint before you is that, Some people are still in that realm- THE MULTITUDE, and the best we can do to them is not only to supply their needs and preached them into salvation but we must be able to tell them the other side of Salvation which is carrying your Cross.

Acts 2:40;
And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Did peter only preached Salvation to them? No, He added many words and testified unto them that they must saved themselves from this untoward generation.
This is just the beginning for those who have come to Christ from the Multitudes.

Let talk about Followers:

Followers

FOLLOWERS

This is the second stage of the first one but, it is a little bit different from the first one. When someone decided to move beyond the multitudes level then, such a person comes to this stage. Indeed, there are many followers of Christ nowadays, in many different denominations you turn to, you will see if not 80% of the congregations are followers of Christ, it will be 50% of them.

Now, this is where it all started. When Christ called on Peter: the first thing he told him was”follow me and I will make you fishers of men”. So Peter yielded to the called but, here he was just a follower of Christ. He did not understand the man that told him to follow him neither did he know why he was called. In his mind he just obeyed that call.

Many of us came to the Lord because of the wonderful promises He promised us when we were about to follow Him, though we may not understand what Christ is all about but what really captivated our heart was that ‘promised’ just like Peter.
May be if Jesus has not included that promised ‘I will make you fishers of men’’, Peter may have turned back.

It can be rightly said that, we are a creations of promise, because what often get our attention is that “promise’’.

The Lord promised Joseph, though he rejoiced in it but he did not understand what the promise was all about until he went through many rigorous experiences.
I do not discourage the aspect of cherishing the promises the Lord has made, because the way the Lord chooses to draw us near has always been through his promises.

To Abram, it was the promises that led him to follow God. And that is why; he kept on reminding God about that promise and the Lord was also assuring him and leading him into all that He has for him. Genesis 12:1-3, Genesis 15:1-2.

So, when you first give your life to Christ, you are just a follower of Christ but far from what He intended or designed you to be.
But the problem here is this, the Pharisees and the Sadducee often blindfolded these sets of people from seeing Christ and turned their heart to begin to labor and carry some haven laden which they have dropped after they came to Christ ( Matthew23:4). These sets of people were denied the ability to have a personal relationship with the Lord that they believed in.

“Since it takes someone who has gone all the way before, to lead you through this same way, how difficulty would it be for you to find Christ when those who are leading you has left the place of following Christ’’.

It’s now becomes an important issue to considered the life of the person who is leading you on in your journey. Failure to put this into consideration, will lead to unexpected results in your journey to become what Christ intended for your life.
If you are just born-again, you are just entering into this stage of being a follower Christ but the Lord demand you to move beyond this stage into what He designed for you. And the step you need to take is to cultivate a habit of communion with Him.

In fact, if the truth has to be spoken in sincerity of heart: you should drop every activity you may be involved in; such activities will seek to kill your desire to seek and know the Lord you believed in.

We are not made for activities but we are made to minister to the Lord needs and those needs can only be met when we learn to sit at His feet.

This was the first stage the Apostles entered into, that was why the people that saw them were able to say:''They had been with Jesus''.

Act 4:13;
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled: and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

Let's ask ourselves this question, How many of us has the unbelievers took knowledge of, like the way these people did concerning Peter and John? No doubt, they may marvelled at our Doctrines but, have take knowledge of our being with Christ?

Many are wallowing in their denominational Doctrines, traditions and dogmas but the world cannot testify that they had been with Christ.
We may had been with our bible, getting mental knowledge out of it and proved ourselves as men/women of understanding but until the world can say that "we are unlearned and ignorant and took knowledge of us, that we had been Jesus'', we are not yet His Disciples.

The gospel of the Kingdom is not all about getting people saved, providing healing for their body but, More importantly, Maturing them into Christ.

This is why, Christ's commissioned to the Disciples were not to make people become born-again only but, were to built them into His Stature, to make them Christ's disciples by teaching them all things that Christ has taught them pertaining to Himself. Matthew 28:19-20.

And this where the whole issues are. This is where the problem often started from because, many believer has not moved beyond this level, some of them may be Pastor or whatever, but they lack understand not of the scriptures but of the Lord.

Since it takes Disciples to built Disciples, how then will you become a disciple of Christ when those who are leading you are never His disciples.

Which level are you, Multitudes or Followers? Whatever level you may be, it is time to move beyond that, Christ is calling everyone to come up hither.

CHRISTIAN

When a believer diligently follows the Lord and desires to follow Him more without the hope of settling, such a person will begins to enter into what God desired him/her to be. And this is third stages of our journey to become what God intended for us. Not many followers will reach this stage, some will turned their back and returned to their first stage of life, and some will remained there without a desire to move beyond that realm.
This is not the rest the Lord promised, this where the journey to the Kingdom are decided. This is where who we are matches with who He is. This is the first stage we see that it's somehow difficult but not impossible to follow.

This is a house of pleasures and dinning, accompany with the needs and cares of the world.

This level is called CHRISTIANITY plus Pleasures.

If I have to tell you the truth in this Stage these are some of the things you will likely hear from my mouth:

''Thank God, you’ve graduated from being a follower of Christ to being a Christian; In this stage, you will be easily recognized and people will begin to see the good side of you and notice some changes in you, but the Lord is just anointing you for the preparation of your crucifixion, making sure all is ready so as to start His major work in you.
Here, you will be given a name by the people that will be seeing the anointing of the Lord upon you and they quickly give you a name that doesn’t fit into what God intended to called you, they will now called you ‘Christian’ and it will now dawn on you that you have arrived. Once you allowed it to dawn you, you will flung your hands in pride and shoulder up.

But, there will comes a day for the pleasure you’ve enjoyed for a while to be taking away, and be replaced with something more glorious than that, but, it will come in an uninvited and rough BOX. You will wonder and ask: what is inside of the box?. At the top of it where the label was stick to, the answer to your question will be provided and it will read thus ‘‘GIVE UP AND BE CRUCIFIED’’ and I'm afraid, for you will cry out in a loud voice that the package is not meant for you.

Since you have a choice to either take the package or remain in this your third stage and Your choice was to denied the ownership of the packages. So, you will now decide to remain in your tent and preserve your taste; you will refused to be empty from one bottle to another, why? Because, there is a glory you are seeing in this level and that glory has ensnared you from moving on. The recognition, the praises, the self glory you have acquired will robbed you of your next stage in Christ and you will remained stagnant in this stage, thinking, that was what the Kingdom is all about.

If no one has applauded you for such decision, I think I do and I say well-done. I know it’s not that easy to carry on to this stage, in fact, you have really tried by given your best.
You enjoyed the pleasure you derived from fellowshipping with other, the sharing, the experiences and many wonderful things you have achieved.

But I’m afraid that this in not where you suppose to call it a quit. You are far from entering into what the Lord designed you to be, the pitching of your tent here will now signified a TOTAL FAILURE. Once, you have pitched your tent here and no longer wish to carry on in this journeying and you have settled on your lee, all that the Lord has for you, you’ve denied yourself of them.''

What more can I say unto your decision? The only thing I know in this Journey to the Kingdom of God is, you are either moving forward or backward there is no place for settlement.

Here is where many have stumble and built their monuments, some built towns and name it after themselves. This is a stage where the Kingdom of God becomes a denominational things. This where the Lord’s sheep are trapped, this is the beginning of BABYLON.

It doesn’t matter which groups, sects, house church, fellowship or whatever names you are called as long as you remain settle and start enjoying yourselves, sharing upon sharing, talking the things of God out without an action to carry them out, more of your needs more than the Kingdom needs, though there may be activities, programs, out-reaches and such things but as long it doesn’t touch the kingdom core or purpose then it amount to nothing.

This is stage that everyone that desire to know God the more, must endeavor to escape. When nothing seems to challenge who you are and what you do, what you believed and whom you believed in, the life you live and the gospel you preached then know for surety that you have settled, you are no longer moving on in Christ. Since the devil doesn’t see anything to challenge you for, he embraced what you do. Because all that you are doing are not for the Kingdom but for the Devil.

I will explain this stage more better in my next post.

Explanation..

I felt I should explain more on my previous post on the word ''Christian''.

When I refer to Christian in this context, I mean those who always linked it up with one denomination or other. It has become a slang or tradition in various organization that when a brother/sister is being asked "are you a christian?" and the person replied by saying "Yes", the next question that will always follow is "What is the name of your Church? or Which Church do you attend or fellowship with?".

The pathetic thing here is this, assuming the brother/sister replied by saying ''I'm just a Christian, I don't attend any Church or fellowship'' the next thing that will follow will be an interrogation, Questions and if, such a person try to avoid it, He/ She will be labeled as Unbeliever or heretic.

The people that behaved this way in this context, are the Christian I'm referring to, either by their actions or by the way they view things of God.
This now means, for one to be a Christian, then such a person must belong to one denomination or other and if he is not, then, he is not a Christian period!!! This is the great error believers are committing day in day out and some are rejoicing in it as if the qualification to be a Believer is to be attending FELLOWSHIPS or to belong to a denomination.

No wonder there are many Goat calling themselves Sheep; many denominations are filled with Dogs and Tortoise. All you could see around them is religion and Titles but at their forehead it is written boldly "ICHABOD". This was the ministry of Eli and his two sons.

The problem here is just one thing, ''these people have SETTLE, they loved the Mountain they are in and not willing to move on''

Why am I explaining this? Because people are very vast in concluding on things and giving them various interpretations.
I do not hate Christian as a People but I hate the name given to them.
I hate everything about that word "CHRISTIAN" when it is tied to one denomination or other.

When I even considered that name from where it came from, I found out that, It was people (unbeliever, Pagan) that gave that name to the Believers in those days in Antioch. It wasn't the Lord that gave them that name and that is why that single name has turned everything about true Disciples upside down.

So, ''christian are settler'', settled in their various Denominations, settled in their various sects. Whenever you find a believer on this journey and he/she settled, know for surety that such a person is not a disciple of Christ but a Christian that belongs to a denomination that have settled.

And I have found out that most of the Denomination we have today have their names through the unbelievers.
E.g
Methodist was not known then as Methodist but it was a Holy-Club started by John Wesley. He wasn't the one that gave that name "Methodist", it was the people that saw how they does thing that initiated that name. From the start, it wasn't a denomination but when that name arrived denomination set in!!

I hope to continue and explain more on this before I go to my next Point.

Wow!! It has been a long while, I hope is not too late to say happy new year to my fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord. How has it been with you in all this few months in the year 2011? Upon seeing all that is going on ups and downs in various countries, I encourage everyone not to panic nor fear, for these (all that is happening in various places) needs to be. The Lord is faithful in keeping His own and He will surely keep His own amidst the trials of the World.

So, lets raise our voices to Him both in prayers and thanksgiving with full assurance in His Righteous Judgments that He will do that which is good to His people.
Also, its also for us to enter into our chambers until the indignations be over-past.

May the Lord keep us all by His name. Amen

Trusting the Lord for this year to continue from where I stopped. Till then, The Lord bless us in Jesus name. Amen
