I thought I was good person I never hurt anyone or thought about doing so. How come my life is hell bacause I am married to an addict who doesn't respect his wife no matter what she did evern if I killed my self for him.. LOL I guess that will make him life better.

I always tried to do the right thing, live the right way. Lord you know i believed in LOVE how come my marriage is so bad. My life was about my husband how come my husband didn;t appreciate that? What happened LORD?

Focus on God's Word. Don't focus on the negative. God has plans, but you must focus on Him. Be still, and know that He is God. He is ever so much bigger than this big mess you are in.

Honey, I was married to a porn/sex addict for 17 years. I did not leave until I realized he was molesting my daughter. He still never admitted to anyone that he had a problem. He just kept pointing at me. One day, the Lord pointed at me and told me to take courage, get the kids, and go to a safe place He had provided. I'm not going to say it's been a fun fair carnival, but I can completely say that I have been blessed!

Perhaps you and the children could keep the home and your "husband" could go stay at a motel or something. You need to take some kind of action before things get worse. I saw your post in the "new members" section.

God has not left you forsaken. Don't sit around and feel sorry for yourself, though, because that won't do you any good, and God's not into self-pity.

God has answers for you specifically. If you're His child, you can seek Him and He will answer.

I can truly feel the hurt you are feeling and having read the following in your profile; "Lord please help me. Make me financially comfortable to afford my living and to provide for my son. Please help me god and end my misery. Enable me to achieve a better paying job" the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33 were dropped on my heart,” But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

I will pray that you will sincerely seek and will truly find.

I like what has been said in this thread in reply to you MDLUPO I just want to add this perspective. That tough times make tough people. We are in a very real war, though we hold no earthly weapons in our hands. Those that go through trying times are being prepared for something greater ahead. I myself am going through a trying time of my own and it is hard, but because of past trials I'm stronger in this trial. I am better able to remember that I'm in this for the long haul, not the short sprint.

MDLupo, your life is messed up because you are married to an active drug addict. Drug addicts and alcoholics ALWAYS wreak havoc in the lives of family members as well as their own lives.

I suggest you get a copy of the book "Alcoholics Anonymous" published by Alcoholics Anonymous' World Services Office in New York City. All major booksellers carry it. Read that book carefully.

I suggest also that you call the hotline telephone number in your area for Al-Anon, an organization for friends and family members wanting help in dealing with alcoholics and druggies.

My e-mail address is in my profile. E-mail me and I'll be glad to help in any way I can. I am a recovering alcoholic.
