There comes a time in everyone’s life where they must reassess the direction in which they are travelling. Sometimes, one must face the fact that their current choices are not at all in their best interests. God wants to use you now! He wants you to be headed in the right direction to enable His plans to come to fruition in your life. He wants you in perfect alignment with His Will; so that He can deliver you to the great many blessings He has planned for you.
We must stop and take a look at whether or not what we have planned is going to be compatible with what God wants for us. We must willingly submit our plans into God’s hands and wait to see what happens next. When we do this, it opens the gateway towards things that in Earthly terms seem impossible. Where there’s a will there’s a way – and it is God’s Will and God’s Way that will have you coming out on top! Deuteronomy 28:13 TNIV says “The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.”
What happens next is going to amaze you! You will be led down the path of deliverance towards a new style of existence. One that is no longer of the Earthly statutes and regulations. It is a life of miracles and blessings – one after the other! Take the first step and you will see for yourself. You don’t need to take my word for it!
In order to attain this new level of existence, there are certain laws and guidelines one must follow. There are blessings that come to us through our obedience and adherence to these laws. These laws have been given to us as a means of protection and salvation. They are our ‘armour’ in times of trouble. They are of course, the Ten Commandments.
Deuteronomy 5:7-21
1. Worship no god but me.
2. Do not bow down to any idol or worship it.
3. Do not use my name for evil purposes.
4. Observe the Sabbath and keep it holy.
5. Respect your father and mother.
6. Do not commit murder.
7. Do not commit adultery.
8. Do not steal.
9. Do not accuse anyone falsely.
10. Do not desire another man’s wife; do not desire his house, his land, his slaves, his cattle, his donkeys, or anything else that he owns.
Begin by taking a personal inventory of your own dealings, and with the commands that God has given you, one by one, start making the necessary changes and adjustments to your style of living and thinking, and then watch as your whole life is transformed right before your very eyes! Bit by bit, piece by piece, you will see the Master at work, preparing you to receive all that is rightfully yours. You will be given your ‘greater destiny’, and not the boring and trouble-filled life of so many in this current age. This is the good news that the Lord has for you today – this, my friend is Supreme Living at its best!
Deuteronomy 7:12-15 says “If you listen to these commands and obey them faithfully, then the LORD your God will continue to keep his covenant with you and will show you his constant love, as he promised your ancestors. He will love you and bless you, so that you will increase in number and have many children; he will bless the ground for you, so that you will have grain, wine, and olive oil; and he will bless you by giving you many cattle and sheep. He will give you all these blessings in the land that he promised your ancestors he would give to you. No people in the world will be as richly blessed as you. None of you nor any of your livestock will be sterile. The LORD will protect you from all sickness, and he will not bring on you any of the dreadful diseases that you experienced in Egypt, but he will bring them on all your enemies.”
May the LORD your God deliver you to all your blessings, and may you become all that you’re meant to be, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
PS 1 Thessalonians 5:24 TLB says “God, who called you to become his child, will do all this for you, just as he promised.” Amen.
