Hi there,

I'm from Melbourne Australia. I was raised non-religious but went to Catholic school.

Now I'm protestant. I'm 33 years, just coming back to Christ after so many year of unbelief/alternative religion.

I'm looking for fellowship here without so much 'USA-Politics discussion that happens on other boards.

I'm also here to learn scripture with friends. I'm hungry for that!

What I've discovered by conversing with Americans is that Australia is a lot more liberal and secular than the US.

I have to be aware of this. It just gets my back up when American Christians think all Christians everywhere should be 'politically' conservative (american Conservative) like them.

I guess it's like me expecting Americans to be like Australians. lol
