Philippians 4
4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
4:7
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus

It's good to know we can come boldly to God and talk to him. But let us not forget to praise him and thank him for what he has already done in our lives. When anxiety kicks in be still because he promise to give us peace when we come to him in prayer and thanksgiving.

So do not be discouraged, God's timing is never ours.

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh not of the will of man, but of God."
John 1:12

Whether we want to admit it or not, we all want to fit in or find acceptance from others.
In most cases we have to change who we are or compromise our beliefs. Before Jesus went on the cross, he did not demand anything from us. His selfless act of love demonstrates his want in being a part of our lives.

It's because of what he did, we can call ourselves sons and daughters.
Being called a child of God to me is more important than fitting in.

So in my times of loneliness, betrayal or abandonment ...I find peace knowing I've found acceptance from God through Jesus .

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Galatians 6:7-9

Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
James 1:21
